the s8 is the last Samsung I will own, switching to an iPhone. This has a good camera, and good battery life and that's it, worst galaxy that I've owned!

I own this unit for 4 months now, and there were no lag at all. I am still happy.
All bad posts here are from non owners, as simple as that.

Farid, 20 Dec 2017Samsung s8 is battery life is ok or is bad? it is not bad. I use complete black theme and it is fine all day long. at the moment it is 52% after exactly 7 hours and it says 7:30 hours remaining. I used it heavily today and SOC was 1:30 hours. And listened music over TuneIN which calculated 23 minutes. I cannot complain over battery. Also there is a ultra power saving mode, which is a life saver.

problems with this phone:
1. it overheats too much (games)
2. the ois is as crappy as hell
3. camera quality: not impressive
4. too fragile; cracks on the back
5. it died after six month

UK are among some of the many users that have been trying out the Beta for quite some time now. I have not had an update since the 1st of August and I'm hoping they just push out Oreo instead as Samsung indicated Oreo will be releases early next year..... well we're nearly there.

Today I've registered my s8+ for Samsung india beta programme. Just after that I received a 1396mb update which is android Oreo 8.0 OS update. Everything till now is working fine and more smoothly.
This programme is for s8, s8+, note8 models only. I recommend everyone to register for beta pgme which is for limited users. If anyone has any doubt/ question can reply me.

Will Mobile Data s... morenot sure but i noticed slightly faster battery drops using 4g 3/4 coverage

Y, 14 Dec 2017Did it break?Nope not a single crack. Had to try really hard in showing my brother the almost invincible scratch on the Aluminium...Because it's hard to even notice at close range. Samsung your design and development team deserve an award. With that height, the hard floor and the loud sound we all heard, we expected the whole screen to have been shattered. All praise to God. Thank you Samsung.

As a Samsung hater I must say this is the best phone they have ever produced. I am starting to consider a Samsung when I replace my current phone.

Will Mobile Data speed be restricted (I'm led to believe that 4g is approx 5 times quicker than 3g?)
