                  Hello,
I would like to upgrade my phone from galaxy S5 mini to S8. I need your opinions about dual sim. My current phone is dual sim, and it has a lot of bugs (maybe it is coincidence with dual sim). So, should I buy dual sim or single? Is there any bugs or something that should I know.
                  Thank you.

I have this phone since may on a upgrade contract. Why did i choose this. I hate the finger print position. Actually wanted to wait for the Note8 but remembered the note 7 had exploding batteries and did not want to take that chance.

AnonD-653023, 15 Dec 2017Hi guys, I am using Galaxy S7 for last 8 months and it's wo... moreWell if it's working 'great' then why change?

The S8's are an upgrade from the S7's. Little tweaks here and there as regards to the capabilities, You a bigger screen ( 0.7 inch bigger) but the bezels are smaller. Personally I like this new trend but you maybe different.

In order to have smaller bezels the physical home button and fingerprint scanner are not the same as the S7 as you can now access home button on screen and the fingerprint scanner is placed on the back.

If you have used your S7 for many months then consider the battery. Your S7 has been charged many many times and it's a fact that batteries deteroate over time, so you may see quite a noticeable difference here) ...... do you know what? I could go on n on n on ....I suggest that you have a wee look at the comparisons below and worth looking at the review on the S8 (click link) and if you have any further any questions then just ask: :)

If I can't help then I'm sure someone will be glad to :)

I have been using S8 for about 5 months now and it has been a gr8 experience so far...the screen is beautiful and phone fits in hand perfectly for a single handed operation. I have been using Bixby for sometime now. It took time to get accustomed to the accent that Bixby would understand but now with better updates it has become far more easier. I hope Samsung keeps developing Bixby integration with OS & Apps as it might be really helpful as an assistant.

The camera has been excellent till now...Although I have had some problems in low light with additional noise creeping in pics as compared to other flagships. The edge display is cool, however, sometimes just holding the phone leads to accidental touch. I guess this is a problem with bezel less phones. I would say I am not a heavy user...but an average phone usage of about 6-8 hours daily. The battery is sufficient for a day's usage at Full HD resolution...lasts about 2-3 hours less on QHD.

Music quality is better with the given AKG tuned earphones if they are adjusted with the Adapt Sound feature. It just amplifies the frequencies that you hear less to adjust the overall sound. Its a neat trick packaged as a significant improvement.

The fingerprint sensor position is really difficult to access and smudges the camera. Also the HR sensor requires positioning the finger in a particular fashion to enable the sensor to take the reading. I hope samsung corrects this in next flagship release.

I have been using Samsung Dex for sometime now. Its a good option if you dont have to carry a tablet or laptop. However, it needs a screen with close to HD resolution. I faced problems connecting it to DVi/VGA as sometimes the resolution gets affected badly. However, I liked the interface Dex creates. Its simple. However, there are very few apps that adapt to the resolution so we would have to wait till the compatibility increases.

Overall, its an amazing phone. Even though LG G6 was launched before, I would say S8 marked the shift in the mobile industry much like what the first iphone did to the world of mobile phones.
