S8 and S8+ is pure Junk. BUY any other phone!
Screen breaks from 1 foot high, even with glass protector and protected case.
Over 300 broken screens complaints on line. Some days old.
Samsung refuses to take any action or responsibility against defective and design flaw.

The only problem is with sms.
In settings sms notification is also ON.

But when new m... moreGlad you are enjoying your phone but it's a shame that you are having problems with the notification sound and ringtone. You are probably aware of this but if not then :
Swipe down on home screen from the very top of the screen and you will now see some icons, now click on the blue speaker (2nd from the left) until it shows the speaker in BLUE ONLY with NO line through it. If the speaker has a line through it then your phone will only either just vibrate only or you will hear no sound at all when you receive notifications ( speaker will be light gray colour if sound off and in blue with lines through it if set to vibrate)

M using s8 from last 5 months.
All is gud.
But when new msg comes cell vibrates only cant listen any ringtone.
In setting all options are on for notifications.

Even it's 650 EURO, I think it's cheapest among other flagships compared to Google Pixel 2/2 XL, iPhone 8/8+/X. You're also provided with 3.5mm jack and expandable storage which most of flagships nowadays doesn't have it. But for alternatively, you can go for Sony Xperia XZ Premium / XZ1. It costs almost same with S8

I have this phone its good but there are times I failed to send text message why because when I pressed send and you dont position your thumb well cause of the curb screen text will not send. Mostly when you're in a hurry.

My Huawei P10 Lite (I love this phone) just fell again and is now completely shattered.
I'm not a Samsung fan, but was thinking about buying this S8.

no more curved screen plz samsung, it's too fragile and delicate i m waiting for a flat screen s9 Samsung Galaxy thirstly.

A couple of months bad I asked you if anyone could recommend a game or two that looked really nice on the S8 or S8 Plus. Nobody responded but I had a little look.
Found a couple of hidden gems in my search, each has tons of content and are well polished (at least one has over 1000 levels)
Ok, the gameplay might not suit everyone but they are fun and look really good and are suitable whether you are young or old. The paid version is very cheap with NO I.A.P or ads. They have a free version also, so you can check them out if you wish.
Games are: Jetpack Disco Mouse, Compact and Chimpact Run
