Honestly speaking Samsung should always release their updates promptly. For instance my Samsung J7 price has not being updated since I bough it in February 2017. This what other phone users enjoy. Thanks.

I have my s8 since the day it was release and du ring the periode the updateservice was good but now 6 mounth later they leave it in the dark there have nt been any security update since august and mant other android services have already updatet there flagships but Samsung is very slow and the Oreo update you want ser ut before next year thats the way Samsung threats there customers they never learn

no name, 23 Oct 2017Tru it all depends all depends on user,And what OS does Use... moreI've had it for a couple of months and really cannot fault it. I had an s6 previously which was also good but the s8 is a definite improvement in performance, enhanced display and battery. I haven't tried the camera yet.

If you are having problems have you tried to return it or have been to a Samsung dealer to have it checked. That would be the logical thing to do unless you already suspect that it's a copy.

You may well change your mind over that time as there will surely be more releases that may grab your attention. By the way I have an s8 and am extremely happy with it. My wife has an iphone8 and she is also happy although she does prefer iphone whereas I prefer Samsung. But the bottom line is that both phones are good. It all depends on which operating system you prefer and also to a lesser degree which screen size you like.

Anyway now it's working perfectly. Actually my greatest gripe with this phone is that you cannot fit a tempered glass protector and a cover so I've opted for a foldable cover for protection from accidental drops.

Great phone, coming from S5 and S7. Since I got the unlocked version through Amazon, I am currently using it on Cricket. No complaint here, fast charging is a must since I'm always in a rush. Charges about 50% in 30 minutes and an hour for a full charge. Sometimes use wireless charging, only overnight if I want a proper charge. Coupled this with the Samsung Fast Charge battery pack, and you have yourself a neat combo. Battery pack is enough for 1.5 charge for the S8.
