The black color version is ugly it is just like the Samsung S1's black color nothing improve and looks cheep.

I just saw this review on Forbes. Any of you S8 users IRIS scanner work perfectly in bright sunlight?

My s4 last only 7 months after which they asked half the price for repair then bought Sony z3 which is superb but want to upgrade so I bought s8 for its looks over xzp but not happy with its battery life..

about the procesor the idea of buy hight end phone its have a fluid experience everyone know android its laggy u need really powerfull SOC to avoid this, i have alots of difent phones. z3, iphone 5-6, amzon phone, xiaomi redmi note.
this its my first phone can say its more fluid thant iphone (i allways see in some apps iphone scrooll lags since ios8) scrolling in this phone is amazing no lags not shuttring and since and samsung allways have the fame of lags.
like i say before in theory the opinion its for people have the phone and share its experience its not a forum for debate "u can do the same with a redmi 3"

It has a hybrid slot so you can use either a sim or an sd card.

These so called problems can happen in any phone.
I doubt you even have a S8 and it feels like you were paid something to come here and spread negativity about Samsung.

I was always a fan of Samsung until this. I recently received a galaxy s 8. I went all out and bought a phone case and temperate glass to protect my phone only to find that the phone has severe sensitivity screen issues. I was told to take my temperate glass off because Samsung galaxy 8 phones have a extremely strong screen hence why having temperate glass made it extremely hard to press on my screen. Stupid enough I did this and spent another 130 on one of those book cover cases and ghost amor to protect my screen from scratches. The very next day my phone fell from my purse onto the driveway. It landed on my front cover of my phone case and shattered my phone. This was my first drop of my phone. It's only a week old. I'm livid.
Prior to all this I have had phone syncing problems. The Bluetooth connection strength is poor. I can't use my apps properly. I can't even open my email in outlook. My phone calls drop and then I hear that the person I'm dialing phone number does not exist even though I was just speaking with them. The feature when my screen will stay on if I am staring at my screen doesn't work. It glitches and freezes lots.
I called Samsung and they told me to do a cache partition on my phone. They gave me the wrong instructions and it brought me to a green screen which froze my phone for a day.
I can't believe what a huge let down this phone had been.

Stats say it has only abt 60% security. So better yet, apply whatever Makeup you want and be happy by using Iris/fingerprint scanner:)...Cheers!!

it is very small not true 5.8 inc.... even i think it smaller screen size than 7 plus 5.5 .... if u can understand what i mean.... first the edge curve it take some size off and the edge is not really useful...the s8 5.8 in is measure from top left edge to bottom right edge...which is misleading...then its 18.9.... which make it narrower + the edge... if u compare it with a 5 inch phone.... not much different...
of course i know the difference between mid range octa and 835 octa but may i ask u wat most people use the phone for??? its just whatsapp , facebook ....web browsing....and some game... but u know the phone game is very low level like candy crush, royal clash, clash of game some kind like that . that so phone actually dont need such high end octa core processor..... u think phone can play game like ps4 and xbox title like unchart, call of duty, final fantasy..... ??

S8 is superb in performance, design and everything. But i am having pretty serious issues on battery. Every time i put my phone on charge, it stops at 81% and i have to unplug and replug my device several times to get the battery at 100%.
I don't know what's wrong with this. i think Samsung was too afraid after NOTE 7 that they put some kind of sensor to prevent phone from exploding. Samsung really needs to do something about this....

what u say all can be achieved by redmi n... morei think u maybe never see the phone in real life, ya u can do the same with this phone with a 100$ redmi but the experience never be the same for 5.8" its really small phone (almost the same size of iphone 7 , iris scaner u need put the phone so near of ur face, its not natural way to use the phone, for that reason i use more face reconition or fingerprint (face reconiting its almost instant) .
ya redmi its a "octa core" but its A-53 octa core this its M2 quad core+ a53quad core...(more powerfull than SD835) the fluidity of this phone its amazing
also its not the same 4g DDR3 to 4GB LDDR4X (its double faster also dual chanels so its 4 time more faster than redmi memory)
also "opinions" is for people have the phone... if u wana debate "i can do the same with a 100$ phone" go troll other place
