I am aware that there is conflicting information out there as to what is best way to prolong the life of the battery. I've heard for example that charging the battery between 20% and 80% is good but then I turn to another website and it will say something different.
Would appreciate if you could clarify what exactly is best practice.
Also setting the resolution to FHD will give you an extra hour?
Where did you get that information from?

But i get only 3 to 3.5 hrs ... moreIt's very hard to say what is normal as the amount of time your battery lasts will be determined by many factors E.g Signal Strength, Screen Brightness, Syncing, Gaming, Social Media usage, Calling time, uploading/downloading using wifi or mobile data etc etc etc
It really is as simple as that. There is no point in comparing someone who for example uses their phone outside for much of the day in the bright sunshine and with the screen brightness set at auto to someone who is indoors most of the time with screen set at a consistent brightness setting ......and that's just the screen.
So just people indicating how much screen time they get does not tell you a lot really is what I'm saying.

Green Arrow, 21 Jul 2018How much is the total screen on time for normal usage ?Around 5h if you change resolution on FHD+one hour more ,whitch I reccomend,And if you charge your phone to max.89%,you acctualy drain battery slower...I reccomend ,that alll,who have problems with battery life must ,if you want to have your battery in great shape download from app.store AccuBattery....This app is not fake aka 5X faster charging ECC...I am not jokeing the best battery app,I have ever tried...and it's accurate and not a fake app.I bet ,that screen on time will go up and up....Don't expect a miracle but it gets the job done ....And it's FREE,but there is also premium version,but it's for all content quite expensive (20 € for everything),but free version is allready great so...why pay

My s8 has been falling on the ground for atleast 3 times and this case protect the phone perfectly without any damage. But im in indonesia, hope it sell in india too :)
