Hi all,
I bought a new s8+ and I noticed that the average battery temporary on normal use ( web, fb, youtube,) without playing games is around 37 C , is that normal?

yeo, 05 Jul 2018On average, how long does it take to full charge and discharge?1h30 to charge and discharge depends on what you do, I can do a whole day and still have 30% and I text a lot, web browsing about 1.5 hours, youtube and some games. Only with bluetooth and location on the battery goes a bit faster to zero but nothing to be scared off.

., 02 Jul 2018Hi Mo :) Where are you getting the idea that the S8 migh... moreBought s8 a month ago..got it for USD 500 so bought it over s9.no lag..but yup obviously it's been just a month.. I have used more than 10 Samsungs from entry level to flagship none of them lagged.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2018Non remove able battery is a negativeIt also helps with the S8 IP68 rating. So that's a positive.
Also
I've had the S8 Plus since launch and batter it with about 6 hours of SOT per day I'd say on average. I have the thing on the charger at least twice a day, not a full charge each time but it's had a good shot at the charger. Dunno how many full charges but over a year that's hundreds of charges!
I say this to highlight that the battery in the S8's is pretty durable as I have not felt/noticed any major deteriation in the battery.
I remember reading an article that the R&D guy at Samsung said that the battery in the S8's would be far mare durable over an extended time compared to past models.
So in short, I don't see it as a problem, love the design and protection (IPS8) the batteries great.

Well I take it that's why the specs have been updated as gsmarena have changed it from the original 256gb then to 400gb and now to 512gb as bigger cards became available. Well, that's what I'm reading into it?

Where are you getting the idea that the S8 might 'lag' or 'slow down' ?
Apart from posts from trolls, can you please provide any links to trusted sources that provide any evidence whotsoever that the S8's may 'slow down' or 'lag'?
I'm just genuinely perplexed, as I see a few posts that list this as one of their main concerns and I would just be grateful if someone could provide me with a few good sources. Yeah, I've seen the odd troll pop.up with this claim BUT have not seen any proof.
