The officiall update for the s9 has been rollet out in Germany today and some other countries as well check it out on sammobile com Note 9 follows shortly have a nice chrismas

I recently purchase s9plus everything is good specially its screen...bt its camera is average in this price both front and back also battery drain fast...

Just recieved 1st December patch update. Just Checked in settings , software update and got the update. Its Great samsung are keeping this amazing phone with regular patch updates every month.

so i am scared of having screen burn in on m... moreplease dont be stupid
i have my s7 and s8 kept on while i was reading books while lying on bed then fall asleep until the next day while the screen still on the moment i woke up
both have no burn in issues
OLED technology supposed to not have any burn in issues since each individual pixel is turning on and off by itself instead of lit by backlight
just th problem with OLED is the screen will degrade overtime

Ideally, keeping screen viewing time down below 0.5 seconds is ideal, but you should still be safe if you look at it for no more than 1 second.

Ive mine set at 80% because the display is so good on s9 plus. Also using darker themes help altho i use rosegold or lilac. I dont like the dark themes. Its very rare having burnout. But its still worrying. Sunlight can cause burnout in screen as well altho its winter now. The google icon on ny s7 edge edge caused burnout on screen. It caused a red dot. I was told at samsung centre not to put too much apps on homescreen. I keep mine on edge pannel now.

HELP PLEASE
so i am scared of having screen burn in on my new galaxy s9+, any tips on how to avoid or prevent screen burn in on samsung devices?
i set my brightness at 50% and screen timeout is 1 minute. is this enough to somehow prevent screen burn in on my phone?

Maggi, 17 Dec 2018See call stickers have disapeared. Shame as i liked that feature.It’s uslues to be honest including group contact chat that no one use it since there’s WhatsApp and Instagram. Wish if Samsung remove all these bloatware it does effect performance I used note 9 512gb, 8 gig of ram for couple of days performance wise not as thought compare to S9 plus and all these performance issue due to the bloated note software and lot of features that not even useful.
