https://youtu.be/rZ-mxershFE What about this comparison that shows clearly how’s snapdragon as weak Soc.

Not to mention numerous bugs and all the problems with Verizon. The Exynos Chipset has an absolute disaster for Samsung! Wether the next gen chipset has resolved these concerns remains to be seen.

But nit buggy since Apple A12 including Apple GPU beats snapdragon in antutu with 350k Lol.

A lithium battery is most efficient when charged between 30% to 80%. It will also last longer if you wait to charge it when it's almost completely drained, below 10%. I have had an S9 Plus since May with pretty heavy usage, no lag whatsoever. Prior to the S9 some users have experienced lag but it's not an issue now and not likely to become a concern with the S10. FYI - The Snapdragon 855 Chipset which will power the S10 is reported to be 40% more efficient than the Snapdragon 845 in the S9. That will improve battery life even further with a mind blowing Antutu Score of 343,051.

              Hi,

I'm planning to buy a galaxy s10 next year. I have never used a Samsung phone before. I was about to buy iPhone XS max last month but after knowing about the S10 I thought of trying it out.
So my question to all the Samsung users is that how much is the longevity of Samsung smartphones? When do the issues like battery degradation, laggy performance etc start to occur? and when does the phone totally feels outdated? with iPhones I know if I get the latest one now, I won't have to worry for at least 3 yrs. What about Samsung?
I do not want to change the phone for at least 2.5 to 3 years. Should I go for S10?

              Thanks

Hi. For anyone on the One UI (UK), question. If you are using Samsung Internet, do you have the 'video assistant', which allows popup / floating view and the video player icon (to maximise the screen).

My Samsung browser changed, following One UI update, and the video assistant setting has been removed. I really DON'T like the new Internet update (you lose the quick bookmark toggle at the bottom).

I've grabbed the Samsung Internet Beta from the Play Store, which has the above but this is old style, but it still has the video assistant.

What do you have, if you got One UI?

I find through s7 edge if i charged it with cable the phone got bit hot. So i used wirless charging pad as it lets the phone stay cool. I find its better to do that. But some ppl have thier own personal choice in what way they charge thier phone. But for me wireless charging is better. Once its charged the pad stops charging.

We spoke about this a few weeks ago and as per your suggestion I turned off fast charging. I have to say that the difference in charging time appears to be rather negligible. In any case I'm happy to leave it like that as I charge my phone at night when I go to bed so I don't need to fast charge it. By the way my phone is an s8.

And battery will stop charging when it reaches 100%. So cant over charge battery and wont ruin battery. I put my phone on wireless charger once a day.

I will just stick to slow cable charging I think.
