Mr Grey, 13 Aug 2018So far the battery life seems the same as before to be fair... moreOk thanks. Perhaps it's just a perception on my part. You tend to forget past use rather quickly and just have an expectation that any update must necessarily be an enhancement all over.

I love the S9+..It's has a amazing screen and spectacular camera BUT all Samsung has lot of over loaded bloatware that suffer some processing slowdown from time...I had a S7 edge and after less then 2 years it's crawling to a halt even I don't seems to have lots of apps install...
Yet again they have lots to learn from OnePlus which has a Oxygen OS that is lightweight and fast...
Nevertheless Samsung S9+ is still a beast but If I have to choose I will go for OnePlus 6 which is way much cheaper and comparable amazing..Same processor and even more RAM !
PS: I do own both of the best Android phone including a iphone X

It is possible S9 plus can also use dex experience like Note 9 (without Dex station) if a software update comes?

Mr Grey, 13 Aug 2018So far the battery life seems the same as before to be fair... moreJust to add to my post it was more the samsung health app that you have to add to the gear app that drained the battery throwout the day on my HTC U11 plus and not really the gear app itself but my battery did take a hit with all the S3 apps you have to install on the phone.

scorpio, 13 Aug 2018It will be interesting to see if your battery time varies w... moreSo far the battery life seems the same as before to be fair but the one thing I have noticed on the s9 plus is that the gear app and my S3 watch doesn't drain any battery whereas when I had the app and watch on my HTC U11 plus the battery drain was not great even when I altered the settings and stopped the app from running in the background when not in use it still drained a percentage throwout the day.
Seems my Samsung phone is better optimised to the gear app and watch also.

My s9 plus got the August security patch last night and whatever else it improves on and it's nice to have a phone which is bein kept up to date as my U11 plus I have has had no security patch whatsoever.

James, 08 Aug 2018I like the note 8. Generally because it has bigger battery ... moreI have the AOD on during the day but it's then set to go off from eleven at night till eight in the morning and I have auto brightness on and I have also disabled virtually all apps to not be allowed to run in the background when not in use and with moderate use I get two days out of my s9 plus and a day with heavy use so I think battery life is excellent and I do agree that the s9 plus is one of the best phones money can buy at the moment.

I like the note 8. Generally because it has bigger battery but not the pen nor the design. If my s9+ has only 4000Mah. Ppfffff. For those who want to buy the s9+, just buy it. It's perfect. Just a 6 out of 10 battery performance for me. Why do I need to turn off the AOD and other functions right?just to save battery?its part of the phone features that you are paying for. But it's killing the battery quickly. I hate samsung for this. They should provide bigger battery capacity since the phone don't have that removable battery feature.
