        So far, the top phone. Everyone already knows about a weak battery. And everything else still looks top. Great Amoled screen, good camera and one of the best designs of all time.

          i have been using this phone for last 2o months. battery is the only reason that i've to shift to another phone. otherwise it would be dang nice. display is good 9/10, speaker 7/10, camera is like meh, you can manage sometimes 5/10. and apart from this there is no software update

              Wouldnt recommend. When I went to update 2years ago on my contract from my s7 I hated that the samsung had removed the normal shaped phone option for the s9 and you could only get THE EDGE for it which I knew would me more difficult grip risk of slip and easier screen crack. However when I first got it I did like some of its features. It had amazing volume for music videos etc and the camera was great however after bout 1 year I noticed the volume had gone much quieter and video record quality was getting worse it also crashed and I lost all my files saved games etc. Ot also stopped auto saving to google photos Before the 2and year it's up video camera on some days is dreadful , never recieve notifications, cant upload depop videos unless straight from camera and apps constantly crashing like music player or phone freezing. Also says loads memory used even though I've tried clear loads. I still have my S7 and it works better than my so now.. next phone I would like to try someone new just dont know what be good

                My classmate has been using this since it came out, I see you're struggling with the battery life, he suggested using "blue light filter". I might get the phone, since mine melted a couple months ago. I dropped it in the shower, didn't let it dry all the way, then put it on the charger.

                        I bought s9 because s7 was really good.
                        But apparently s9 is terrible.
                        Mine got yellow screen on 13th month.
                        I paid for screen replacement in Samsung service center only to get yellow screen again on 4th month while warranty was only 3 months.
                        Moreover nfc no longer works with battery under 90% since pie update.

                                    According to SamMobile:

                                    "The two smartphones had recently received the April 2021 security patch. They will likely receive their next security update in July or August 2021 and they will be moved to a biannual update schedule next year."

                                    Does that mean S9/S9+ will be the first flagship phone to receive 5 years of security updates? Looks like Samsung is changing it's software support policies again which is good since most budget and midrange phones are already getting 4 years of security updates. BRAVO SAMSUNG!

                                        I had the Galaxy S1, the S3 , the S5, and rhe S7 over the years, and each of them was better than the last. I thought nothing of initiating a 24 month contract for the S9 as my confidence in the brand was backed by years of positive experience.

                                        I've spent two years hating this phone almost as much as I hate the iPhone. Poorest battery life in the family, packed with bloatware and obligatory spam, possessing an inconveniently placed button that cannot be dosabled or re-mapped but which interrupts anything you happen to be doing to force the god-awful Bixby spambot on you at the slightest touch, massive updates seemingly every other week that introduce more spam and bugs, and despite never having so much as cracked a screen in my life, this p.o.s shatters if you so much as look at it too hard!

                                        The S9 is not just a bad phone- it's vile, and it has changed my view of the brand forever.

                                        It's the last Samsung phone I think I'll ever own.
