I have been using it since 2018 and I changed its battery twice myself so easily. I'm running Android 13 Floyd Rom, fast and very good battery management. When I see what's coming out today, I'm not ready to replace it. Its size, build quality, weight, versatility, and DEX...So good !

Amir1211, 04 Dec 2023Better than stock rom?..if yes it is better in battery life?Stock is better when it comes to features and stability. My SOT on my S9 is 2-3hrs (pretty much the same on all roms). I'm currently using Evolution X 13 with XXTR kernel (oc+++ and undervolt) and it gets 600k on Antutu V10. It reboots randomly on AOD and heats up a lot unfortunately.

Samsung s9 is a really great device been using it for almost A year and the half now but my main problem now is I don't no weather it a software error or something when ever I game on it the phone doesn't register multiple touch infact sometimes it does register any touch on the screen at all gaming I play pubg and or competitive mobile games on it and and the touch issues makes me angry I felt like smatching the phone on the ground sometime wish Samsung could fix it with some software update I don't think it possible since the phone is already forgotten by Samsung

Otherwise, go for Evolution X Android 13. I'm using Noble 3.7.1 on my S9 (overclocked) and It's alright, but it's slower than it was when I first flashed it.

I wish they made a small but powerful device. Sadly, it's 2018 and 99% of people want big phones like this. Can't wait for android 10!

The greatest cellphone I've ever owned. Outstanding product.
I've had my S9 since its release and decided in 2023 to upgrade to the S9+ since I was such a fan.
Only issue I had was the battery not holding charge, but this was after 4 years of use.

The battery isn't that resistant yes,but its still cool

asxasasdasdas, 20 Sep 2023samsung s9 overheats easily and the battery is pure trashThat's what most Samsung phones are imo, I bought the Fold phone 4 for my brother in law, and he told me it just overheats a lot, he also had an older samsung phone from like 6 years ago, i forget the name, but still same issue since day one, a huge turns off for me on why i never wanted to consider a Samsung phone or tablet for myself, plenty of other options that are cheaper & better to choose from
