I have both S8 and S9 at the moment, best phones ever. Cameras, screen, speakers, speed, upgrades....eveything is top of the range. The fight between S10 and P30 will be interesting.

LeBrince, 14 Dec 2018SAMSUNG will lose this time if they will make curved screen... moreI share the same preference, but I think Samsung is (partially) doing the right thing providing both flat and curved screen to really see the market's overall preference. At the moment, you can't rely on feedback of people already owning S9 which doesn't have any alternative. Moreover, they are not the ones expected to upgrade to the S10 family. Owners of S8 and below are their main target. So, IF many S9 users upgrade to the S10 flat, that's really telling something.
Too bad they won't have the most advanced S10 with flat screen option. But maybe that's not a risk they're willing to take. I do hope it will be available for the S11.

SAMSUNG will lose this time if they will make curved screen s10 or note 10.
Most People are fed up now with curved screens. At the starting S6 edge was pretty cool looking device but curved screen era is over.
Curved screen phones issues are 1.Lack of responsiveness on edges 2.Break easily 3.Lack of full screen view 4.Accident touch
Curved screen pluses 1.looks cool to SOME PEOPLE 2.disco/crazy lightning on notification when upside down.
I suggest they better go for S10 edge less and S10 edge with both variants plus versions. They must have same ram and processors. No need for lite because samsung is already making those budget phones like J series and A series (their price tags are high too).

Max, 14 Dec 2018Lol. Not only on Samsung phones. Whether it is Samsung, One... moreMy s9 screen was not on 100% brightness and after only several months of use the issue came. I think a 800$ Phone is supposed to run perfectly in any condition even the basics like 100% brightness or watching youtube.
I have not seen any Apple amoled screen with this issue .

Samsung issues, 13 Dec 2018Yes, Samsung screens can burn in. Even their original flags... moreLol. Not only on Samsung phones. Whether it is Samsung, OnePlus or Pixel phones, keeping the AMOLED/OLED screen at 100% all the time will result in burn-in. To avoid burn-in, keep screen brightness around 30% unless you're outside in direct sunlight.

Livos, 12 Dec 2018Anyone experienced screen burn in? I'm a heavy user. No such issue on my s9. The best way to avoid screen burn in is to "turn off auto brightness" and keep brightness level under 50%.

Anonymous, 09 Dec 2018If you keep a dark theme and dark wallpaper, power saver on... moreTurning it into a dumb phone. These are supposed to be smartphones but oh no we cannot enjoy all its features because of poxy battery and its no excuse. It should last a day with full brightness and qhD screen and gps on etc why should we compromise and render it useless? Year by year goes by and even if GPU/CPU uses no power the screen and aerials do ,we need proper batteries in phone.

Mohamed Arafat, 09 Dec 2018How much screen on time on this phone? If you keep a dark theme and dark wallpaper, power saver on, location off, resolution hd+, screen brightness at lower level & disabling the unused apps it will last 6 to 7 hrs. Otherwise it will last only 4 -5 hrs only.
