Coming from the European S2 i9100, this phone is a huge let down as for pixels and contrast. The colors on the i9100 looks so richer and bold while the colors on this one is lite and dull. I'm like wtf.. I taught it was the same phone. Apparently it is not. It doesnt even come with the video maker app that comes with the s2 i9100. T-Mobile installed a whole bunch of bloatware, luckly I was able to root and bloat them off. Performance wise, its fast as the s2 i9100 but the pixels is just the worst. You will see when you zoom in on pictures and it starts to get blurry like wat.... on da s2 i9100 when you zoom in u seem better pixels. I cant believe i downgraded to this.

This one was a given, but we can’t help but love it when it has been officially confirmed. The Samsung Galaxy S2 has been officially confirmed by Samsung UK to receive the Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update, although there was no dates mentioned, apart from the promise that they will keep us posted.
We had previously reported on a rumored list of devices that were scheduled to receive the Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 update, and the Samsung Galaxy S2 was among them. We’re not sure about the fate of the other devices, but then again the devices listed are some of Samsung’s latest products, so it’s not a stretch to imagine that they would be eligible for the update as well.

I had... moreI almost got the Amaze, until I saw YouTube videos that reveal the same poor audio-recording quality as the Sensation I returned - HD video imaging, LD video sound. I love this device. It isn't as snappy as the Exynos units & T-Mobiles 42mbps only reaches 4 in LA, but I love the larger screen.

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2011what about its battery?The batter is 1850. It lasts me 16 to 20 hours from a full charge, and that is with 3 to 4 hours of screen on time, and depends on what you do. Games it will last less, but regular use, or browsing, you can get the 20 hours. Very good.

I had an Amaze first, but it turned out to be not too amazing. The GSII is super fast, has the best screen out there even at the lower resolution, and can do anything you need it to. The look and feel is nothing short of perfection. I love it. I've been using it since a week after launch, and I wouldn't give it up for anything. 1st class all the way.

Best phone ever, at least until Samsung nexus prime and even bigger screen and awesome display, (not too sure about a new cpu) can't wait until ice cream sandwich comes out.
Bigger is better. Unless you are a girl.
No complaint against the battery, with normal usage (and I'm a heavy user) more than a day, if on Netflix probably 2 hours.
