This is seems to be best in that range. 3G is missing but tell me how many people use 3g even in high end phone. and if you are buying 5k phone we shold expect 2g is fine for basic connectivity.
Don't compare it with 4-5 times multiple priced phones. This is best budget phone.

friends its only 2g network support mobile. so it not ment for high end coustmers, so fell free and take all samsung high end models. this is the fone only for the coustmers who have drem to use anroid below 5k for them it suits ok its india not foriegn we have only low profile coustmers who think for disconts alweays so it suit for them ................................................................................................

I think its not good for user. If samsung gives so many features in galaxy star in low price range.. So how it will be gave more satisfication to other high budget customer. Like s duos user. Ace duos user. Rex 90. Its means it will be beat on own samsung product. Very truely there have no comparison with nokia becoz nokia does not have any android phone....

It has 512mb ram and 1ghz processor and jb os. Then fame too has the same ,it manages with these specs know, so star too runs in a good way.once observe performance of fame and decide

very low ram bcoz in 4.1 jelly bean uses ram is 350 mb.everytime.So only 150mb ram free for all feature run like callins,chat,net,games,etc. Very slow and hanging problem sure.......low prize ... only ui experiance not all .............

nice phone i am waiting this android phone this phone batter than nokia asha phones. Nokia phone having software problem like restarting and hanging and low RAM phone speed very slow i think this phone very good, i like it.

I guess this phone will rock! If you do not need 3G then this is the cheapest best phone. Actually this phone is made for users that do not go for 3G feature.
I must buy this phone at the end of May 2013 after its release.
