Hehe, maybe people had known about this already, but thanks to you for letting me know this too. So, just trying to swipe not too close to the edge, or zoom in the page first, then swipe.
No folder style option in default messaging app, you can download Pansi sms from Google Play. At the first time you run it, setup wizard will ask to choose between conversation style or folder as default appearance.
Your provider is sending push messages. See in messaging application settings if you can disable receive push messages. Certain apps however also possible to send push messages.

Gris,i want to know whenever am browsing in chromse...if i swipe to a page to reach to a particular area in that tab itself,it gets to me another tab which is very frustrating.plz help.
Also,how can i see the messaging application with normal folders like inbox,sent,draft etc.
And my network provider keeps sending msgs about various offers and they pop up on my screen as notifications with OK and CANCEL button,if by mistake i click ok,that wud deduct my balance..so what to do to make these msgs stop appearing as pop ups.

If it fails, you may brick your tab. Or just take it to Samsung Center and let them update yours using the best process.
I'm still on ICS... not because I don't want it to be upgraded to 4.1.2, but for me everythings fine with the current version, so far features (like offline dictionary or offline voice input) which require JB are not so required or at least there are other alternatives to get the same results. Maybe later when 4.2.2 is released for this tab.

AnonD-14017, 05 Apr 2013Very well explained,Gris..thanks a lot...i hope with time i... moreUpdating to 4.1.2 from 4.1.1 will give no problem, both are at best with kernel version of your tablet currently has. There should be some improvements on performance after uupdating. Some preloaded apps might also get the latest version with the update package. Upgrading via OTA is no problem, I would suggest to do this thru Wi-Fi connection. Master reset before and after upgrading is also recommended, but I think from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 this is not necessary.
To stop background apps. go to Application manager in settings menu, on top choose All tab then select an app. For downloaded apps there's force close button to stop the app, and for preinstalled ones select disable button. Note that some preinstalled app can't be disabled (disable button is in grey).
Selecting text to copy/cut and paste in any text editors (memo, text messaging, doc. etc) use the same trick. Tap and hold with two fingers some words in any area of text you want to copy. On top new options appear to select all, cut and copy text. On the highlighted words there're start marking and end marking can be moved to highlight the sentences you want to copy then choose copy at the top. Or easily select all if you want to pick up the entire text in editor box then select copy.

AnonD-126060, 04 Apr 2013I have recieved my bluetooth headset after 12 days,,,,,I have not got it even after 45 days of my purchase :( and now samsung does not even care to reply to my emails.i feel cheated,i bought it during promo offer thinking am gonna get free samsung bluetooth headset and just after two days,the price slashed down by 3.5k.i atleast deserve to get my bluetooth headset but i think am not gonna get it now.

That default data usage app is Google own app, therefore it works in the same way on other brands smartphones. About we can't set the margins permanently to the desired dates everytime we want to check our data usage is also became other people complaints.
But the more I learned, I found that it is more practical to use then my traffic monitor app.
1. I can check my daily usage, or comparing my today's usage with my data usage from the other days - just for comparison or any other benefit.
2. Checking data usage of each app, some apps run automatically in the background without notice and use internet traffic, if they are not necessary then I can disable those apps to reduce data traffic
4. It keeps showing data usage on the current week - or in the last 7 days: this is to predict when you will reach your limit by using your pattern usage in the last few days.
5. Dragging the margins is not that annoying, see point 4) to understand why Google set the margins that way.
