Okay, I had to disable power saving mode to make the hotspot work! This tab doesn't have any sensors except the accelerometer :(

It seems wifi hotspot is not working on tab A 2017. I cannot ping default gateway 192.168.43.1. Has anyone experienced this?

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 (2016) check it in GSMarena in Amazone and other cnet.com and many other computer sites. it is not expensive.
Huawei has the Huawei T2 less expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.

I am using this tab for one month.This is a wonder tab.If you are using a 4g SIM like jio you don't need any other online devises Never look to configuration and ram,it runs fast,camera also very good,playing almost every game,can easily use as mobile phone with single hand .

I do not recommend Samsung tablets to anyone, to those who think about the corporate market then, even less! Samsung is not committed to support their users, and does not update its devices as more current (and safe) versions of Android! If you do not bother to stay locked at the unsecure and out-of-date versions do Android... make your bet!

Using around 1 month
Slow compare to my A7 2016
It is ok since i just gaming on phone
Battery life really great
8 to 9 hours screen on time
To OTG need type C port
Cannot using normal usb converter
But pyhsical key annoying me
Been using Tab 2 7.0 with on screen navi button

At this price range & being only 12% costlier than previous 2015 model 2 best thing that got upgraded is first the size which is now perfect & handy. Secondlying the Metal Body.
And 2 thing to be have changed was RAM to 2.5, Processor 1.6 Gz With Snap Dragon 435 and Secondly wanted stock android & Microsoft office as usual
Then even a 20% to 22% increase in Price would have been great.
