I'm thinking of getting this one only to read books in PDF format. Would the text be clear and readable at this size? I don't care for videos/gaming on this

This tab is very good featured but if in my view only two features would have been added, it would have been best for this price
1. Body colour especially gold it should have been gold from both sides. In gold colour we see black on front side and golden on back side making it less attractive.
2. Atleast it should have 3gb ram. But Samsung repeating like last year's tab a having same memory and making it less accomodative.

is there a wifi version only or is it only wifi+LTE version?
I like the device but only need as tablet and not as a phone.

Am already using 2016 Tab A 7.0 but will like to upgrade to 8" 2017.
The spec is ok for me. Mostly the LED flash. Please i need your suggestion fast.

just in it, heavy that my previous Samsung tab,
no proximity sensor need double tap screen to use other function
no light on navi (recent, back) key cause me many time wrong tap on empty area.
