It is a very slow tablet it didn't meet my... morewith this cpu its exactly doing what it has to be. if you had nokia 3.2 too that one is the same as this tablet and in speed they are the same. for me its enough. the only drawback for me is that downloading via wifi is slow

              My Galaxy 8tabA. It is a very slow tablet it didn't meet my expectations being glad when my contracts up on it. Verizon sold it to me, but I thought it would be faster

                              not well spend for the price xiaomi mi pad 4 has better specs and same price

                                The specs on this are a little low to cope witht eSumasung customisations on Android, but the specs are generally fine for basic media watching and the extra storage option is great (400Gb for £20!)... but why on earth are they selling a micro-USB port device in 2019 when everything else has been using USB-C and QC3 fast charging since 2015 and for kids devices especially, that port is always the hassle (they runt he battery down / accidentally disconnect / can't plug them in, etc)!!
                                If you pay ~30% more will get you a Huawei Mediapad M5 and then you get a FAR better screen, faster CPU/GPU, a lot RAM, a simplified, faster version of Android and mostly.... USB connectivity and fast charging that isn't 5 years out of date.
                                OR pay half as much and get a Nexus7 2013 which will feel about the same speed, but have a much higher resolution screen... it is from 2013, so it will have the slower micro USB charging...

                                    I got a Tab A 8.0 for my kids to watch a few cartoons and some educational games.
                                    It doesn't have a high res screen and 2GB memory isn't high BUT for kids use it is a great tablet.
                                    The inbuilt kids software basically gives you a separate OS for kids which gives you total control over content, apps, usage time, accounts for multiple kids etc. It also includes some nice educational apps.

                                    The battery life is great both in use and in standby. I haven't done a full test and have been installing apps and loading movies but expect around 10-12 hours screen on time at about 50% brightness.

                                    Hopefully Samsung bring out a higher spec'd version with a bit more memory, better processor, better camera and higher res screen. But for a cheap kids tablet it is highly recommended.... just get a case because it is a bit slippery.
