        I got one and it is a fantastic device. As I am using it in Europe you can make phone calls from the earpiece as a large phone and that is fantastic. I have send already hundreds of emails to samsung to enable Volte as now when you are making a call it drops to 3g or 2g. Now in in my country they switch off 3g and you are dropping to 2g for phonecalls. That is meaning that you can not use data while calling someone.
        I hope Samsung one day to overcome that problem and enable VoLTE.

        Also the maximum of carriers that can aggregate are 3 Bands.

        That specific format that makes it an oversized phone makes it unique and very good in situation that you have 2 Sims on 2device with the same number. You are using that tablet as a big tablet phone when working in rough environments and switch back to your precious iPhone or galaxy flex or whatever smartphone you use for your everyday tasks when you are off work.

        I am looking forward for the future version or tab active 4 to support dual SIM 5g and have a louder earpiece for clearer sound in noisy environments. Also to have VoLTE enabled. I hope from them to use a SQ 898. Even if it would be expensive at least to have the best hardware around as those professional devices are at least 3 to 4 years in the market before the new version come to the market.

            List of Tab Active 3 model number:
            SM-T575: LTE version for international, can insert simcard & make calls
            SM-T570: WiFi version for USA, cannot make calls
            SM-T577: LTE version for USA, can insert simcard but need to be connected to second Galaxy smartphone of the same account (Please correct if I'm wrong).

I don't think I've came across another tablet similar to that (which only uses the SIM card for data) that has an earpiece because you basically don't need it.

                Quick update:

                - As others mentioned, the Active3 cannot make phone calls because the SIM card registers for data only.
                - The fine print in the specs says the 5050 mAh is an average; the advertised minimum battery capacity is 4900 mAh. Mine had slightly less, around 4800 mAh and AccuBattery now says that battery health is at 85%. Interesting.
                - The glass screen protector fits well under the borders of the original cover.
                - I did some research on no battery mode. It seems software activation of this feature requires a corporate account; for the rest of us, physically removing the battery is the only option for activation.

                  Got a new one, 64GB, a month ago on eBay. It's very fast and responsive, I love it. Has one speaker and a port for stereo headphones. Maximum battery charge is about 5% less than the advertised 5050mAh. I wouldn't say a fully-charged battery lasts a day, not when I browse a lot. Battery could have been bigger but on the bright side specs say it supports 15W fast charge (haven't verified this). It makes no sense to state it's water-resistant if the bottom ports (speaker, mic, USB-C, audio jack) cannot be physically covered. I wish the soft keys were larger. Bluetooth and wired mouse and keyboard (tested with a QGeeM 4-in-1 USB-C Hub adapter I got on Amazon) work fine. Dex works seamlessly with a HDMI cable but has lag when display is connected wirelessly. In Dex mode, the tablet optionally becomes a trackpad. I haven't tried the no-battery mode yet. Screen size and resolution are a good trade-off for display quality vs. battery life (wish it had e-Ink display). The S Pen is really a feature, I use Samsung Notes for screen annotations all the time. I find the settings for adjusting the audio EQ to the specifics of the user's hearing very useful (if this is actually an Android 11 feature, I have been unable to find it on other devices).I read the OS upgrade of this device to Android 12 is planned for March 2022.

                  I am definitely going to buy a display protection glass. When I read stuff like, "I dropped it on icy gravel and display broke", or "I dropped it in by bathtub and warranty doesn't cover the water damage" I think those folks are either missing a cog or are trying hard to make a point about something they don't really understand.

Tried a lot in the past with other sim card tablets. they all were NOT CERTIFIED as a phone to do so: no phone calls, only sms. Deal Breaker!

                              It is greatly discouraged across the board though and not common practise at all. It was viable as a lesser evil in devices with only 8 or 16gb.

                              Biggest pitfalls:

                              Using SD card as internal memory makes the memory work on sd card read and access speeds. Nobody in its right mind want that. The speedy internal memory is much faster but the device, often, will work on slow sd card rate. (even the fastest 2021 sd card will make a mess)

                              Then there is the possibility of fucking your device up by little faults in the sd card wich are not uncommon let alone in sd cards, yes.., USED AS INTERNAL MEMORY where faults sooner occur.

                              Taking out the sd card fucks your whole device up. For obvious reasons.

                              64 GB IS PLENTY for app and OS memory. Allocate all videos and photos and what not to your 1 TB SD card. Voila donn. Setup apps that use large memory bits (like here maps with offline maps) to your sd card aswell. Lastly apps can also be instructed to use the sd card as cache in a way but i cant elaborate right now.

                              Anyways if you get the 64GB full with the OS and app data only now that would be a miracle.

                              That said it is never bad to get the 128GB model ..
