Just got this tablet on sale $199,99cad. As an owner of a 9.7 with pen it was a charm and easy to setup for my daughter. For the price you cannot ask more.

I have had it for a week and I am unimpressed completely. Doesn't want to stay connected to the wifi in my house. Also has a flicker of blue screen while I am trying to watch programs on any app and when i am surfing the web with it. It is going back today.

I ordered one from Best Buy Canada, on December 25, 2016. Received it on December 29.
They advertised it with Lollipop, But it came with Marshmallow 6.0.1.
Battery is 7300 mAh (rated 5V ; 2A). 16GB

great product except no mhl so you cant connect to a big screen tv it does have quick connect but only good for videos,pics that are in your folders.

So far, this particular tab E 9.6" is running 6.0.1 and has a 7300 MaH battery. Very quick and snappy and streams video very well. Dunno what every bodies problems with buying on such an older version of android but bought this one and has the newer version preinstalled.

visited all markets and checked Samsung Galaxy Tab E 9.6. everywhere it is stuck on KitKat. That's why I did not buy. KitKat is very veryyyyyyyyyyyy old. poor tablet

Just got mine today and it on 4.4.4 KitKat too. Says its updated when do software update. This is letting it down.

AnonD-622621, 19 Dec 2016Bought Dec 2016 still stuck on 4.4.4. HelpKitKat is a very old version of Android. You should contact Samsung customer service. Retailers told me Samsung has not planned to upgrade the Android version of Samsung Galaxy Tab E.

Tablet is good but android Kitkat is not good. KitKat is too old software. At least it should run Lollipop. Sony and Lenovo is better than Samsung.

Not a good product. I checked in the many markets, this tablet is still running KitKat 4.4.4. KitKat is very old. I will never buy.

I've had mine since last Xmas and it is running 6.01...no problems at all...just wish it was MHL compatible, cannot seem to be able to hook it up to hdmi
