I've had mine since last Xmas and it is running 6.01...no problems at all...just wish it was MHL compatible, cannot seem to be able to hook it up to hdmi

i bought mine 2 weeks ago. was worried about the android 4.4.4 not upgradeing but mine upgraded up to marshmellow 6.1 right away. love this device .very pleased.

You look at a spec sheet saying it is lollipop and you say it's kitkat? It is really runningAndroid Lollipop.

I loved it until it shut down/froze while it still had charge.. and now it won't even charge. Also heated up to the point where I couldn't touch it. I shouldn't have to pry open a device to fix it. I didn't pay to play operation on an electronic device. If that's my sollution I am not interested. Tried everything else I read about and nada. Tablet seems to be fried and I haven't even had it for a year. Bs

You should look for Sony and Huawei. Sony and Huawei provide better services than Samsung.

Camera quality is the worst. WiFi connectivity is not good. can't do multi tasking. I would prefer Huawei or Sony. Stay away from Samsung.

Great WiFi connectivity and u can use the app 'SideSync'to connect it with ur phone. It's on sale right now for $169 at best buy and samsung.com. hope this helps.

I just (11/27/16) purchased a Tab E from Bestbuy. It came with Marshmallow (Android 6) installed. It does not have cell phone connectivity.
So far, I am very impressed with the whole thing.

I'm not sure why the discrepancies posted by previous people but I just purchased this tablet, at Walmart, Canada, black friday, $219+ taxes.. it came with the 7300mah battery! yay, and is at android 6.01 marshmallow operating system.. and there is a system update downloading as we speak..
love it, fast, will test the battery length and see if is quick charge capable..
Love Samsung, Love Android products!

Experience with Samsung is that they quit updating software and Androidsoon after you buy it.

Between E 9.6 and A 9.7 or 10.1 which is best?
I need a recommendation my factors are price ( 150-180 bucks) 9 or 10 inch good internal memory and excellent wifi capabilities. What would you suggest?
