32GB internal storage, what a joke.
the Tab S is 32GB.
the Tab S2 is 64GB
but the Tab S3 is 32GB.
$1000 toy and no space to run apps.

MN, 12 Jul 2017Hi friends I would like to share my experience using Samsun... moreThanks for v good review.
I purchased this tab s3 on 22 June 2017. 2 months gone. So can add and update something in this review.
      1) Its Gorilla glass 5 (also at backside) so its virtually scratchproof.
      2) When 100% charged, MAX battery saving mode extends battery life to 60+ hrs.
      3) If want to use JIO, be careful........ as its not VoLTE, huge connectivity problem (yes.... at some places outdoor also).
      4) Sound quality is awesome (4.0 channel speakers).
      5) Display is v v good and extreme sharp. Pl install "night mode" app if want to use in dark for long time.
      6) As android, MicroSD card support is very limited. cant read/ write media files (photos, movies) at 100% accuracy.
      7) Camera is v good. As it have f2.8 wide aperture, can take low light photos with very low noise.

My earlier tab was Samsung Tab 4. Its much much advance than that. 100% recommended.

AnonD-689865, 05 Aug 2017Thanks for the detailsYou damaged your battery somehow, I mean, 20% drain is unheard of anymore especially in a Samsung tablet. And I doubt your last iPad had 18 hour battery life

Need larger storage size- the books i purchased, glanced at google store, often amounted to size over 15GB, then i had to delete all the downloaded data and fresh start again. the "move data to external sd card" function never works. please release 64GB version if possible.

Need larger display- reading digital magazine, books has become new hot demand. the original magazine often designed with a width larger than 14.8cm. magazine must come with fixed pictures, text, layout, means no way to adjust font size. can only enlarge the whole page. reading magazine on a 14.8cm wide tab, means having to reduced size of the page to read, or keep on zooming and shifting the area of page. IPAD has released version in 11", 13". TAB should follow suit. can release a 11" version soon? 11" display means 16.8cm width of display. great improvement.

Get more great apps land on the android- I discovered the Cambridge dictionary app is currently IOS only. any ways to make such similar apps land onto the android platform? the user base of android is huge already. Will i get an IPAD because of some IOS exclusive app? maybe so.

At first, the tablet really seem impecable. Its fast, feels reliable, its not heavy, the screen is awesome and with the keyboard it replaced the laptop for my work. I previously owned an ipad and the tab s3 is definitely better.
But as time goes by it shows some flaws. Its not as quality built as the ipad. the charger connector is already kinda loose, id doesnt feel sturdy at all. The keyboard is not very well fit with the magnetic litle conectors so when you touch it or reposition the tablet, for example when you are watching netflix or something, it locks the screen thinking the keyboard was removed! so you cannot move the tablet with the keyobard attached because its very loose and it will lock the screen all the time.
Also the battery is a real disappointment, it doesnt last half the time my previous ipad 2 lasted, and the ipad was 5 years old! It will drain more then 20% during the night with the tablet locked with absolutelly no use... very annoying!
Other than that i just dont believe there is a better tablet in the market right now. But the tab s3 could be a lot better with minor improvements.

A pretty good tablet. However, a microcd-card is quite needed if you play much of games. 128 Gb card costs about 40-50€. S-pen is amazing and quick charger also. I think 550€ would be a proper price for this tablet. Prices are unfortunately too high in the northern countries now..
