It might be a cliche after an update. I always do that after every update. Cnt believe your stuck on July update. Have you tried checking manually in settings for software update?

Imagine when you open an app, animation will start, the window of this app expanded to full screen, so the strange vertical line moving follow that window edge while animation showing (from short line to full vertical). When app fully opended, that line will gone.
        I thought its firmware problem because if i Odin other version its no issues anymore.
        But this is newest firmware and i want to use new version, so...... Waiting for new update for T727U.

If you are getting vertical or horizontal line or lines on any display screen regardless of what color they are, it usually means the display is failing. It happens with TV screens, computer monitors or phone and tablet screens. Your Tab S5e's amoled display may be failing and needs replacement. Have it replaced if under warranty.

You can swipe from the ed... moreNo itsnot edge panel, im talking about 1 vertical pixel line (some time blue or yellow) moving on the left of animation when i closing or opening apps. If i turn off animation (in develop setting), its gone.

You can swipe from the edge panel inwards to display edge panel shortcuts. You can disable the edge panel in settings if you don't like to use it and that white vertical bar at the edge of the tab S5e's screen will disappear.

This tablet was released April 2019 and was only promised to get updates for 2 years. The tab S6 (released the same year a few months after the tab S5e) was guaranteed to have 3 years software update support so for the tab S5e to get a security update well past the promised support period is encouraging. Makes one have second thoughts moving to another brand. Let's hope that like the tab S6, the S5e will still get Android 12 even if it's not promised like in the tab S6.

                      After that update the settings layout looks like z Fold. It has pin favourite apps. Task bar. . Looks really cool:) This was a big surprise. Hope all you guys get this update soon. Wish that my s10 plus and note 10 plus had have got this feature.

                        Just posting after updating my tablet. The settings layout has changed. It now shows Labs feature. Bedtime mode in quick toggle. Its 3.1.1 update.

                          I have just received software update on tab s5e. 740.80mb. Few features improvements. Comes with September security update. It's still downloading at the minute. . Did anyone else receive it?

The battery is great. Even got the 3.1 update which is good. You won't go wrong with this tablet. I use mine for movies, YouTube etc. The sound is amazing and call&texts to other device is very good. You won't regret it. Hope this helps.

                                  I am thinking about buying s5e, but I am not sure if that's a good idea since it's been already 2 years after its release. 128gb/6gb would still work fine for the next few years for daily use such as writing or internet surfing?

                                    I have WiFi version and I can call and recieve and send mgs on my tablet with calls&texts on other devices. This came put with Android 9. I had it on galaxy tab A 2018 . It's a good feature.

                                        This tab is great for multimedia, not for gaming. Battery is medium.
                                        Just 1 thing i unsatisfied that this tablet required connect other phone for send and recieve message while i have been insert functioned sim card.
