I really like this tablet. I'm glad it got the 3.1 update. But stilll on march security update. So don't think it will get anymore security updates either. I have only owned this tablet a year and there's no other tablet out there that appeals to me. I will stick to tab s5e for now.

There never was even before the software updates and there never is. Unfortunately though, Samsung has already abandoned updates for this tablet since it is more than 2 years old. In the meantime, the tab S6, released just a few months after this tab S5e continues to get security updates and will get the upcoming Android 12 update. And surprise, surprise! The cheaper low end tab S6 lite with low screen resolution will get 3 major Android software and security updates.
                  Way to go Samsung! That's how you lose customers.

                        I have used the 128gb for 2 years. Have my phone (S5 2014) tethered I like the bigger display for receiving and sending text.. and I can receive calls. These are heavily discounted now. Very nice tablet. Use for preforming with the SmartChord app. Mine is a WiFi model.

                                      It's possible some tab S5e units have significant to severe jelly scroll but frankly, I don't see it in my unit so I'm 100% sure it's not at all widespread in tab S5e.

                                        Try to open a web page with a lot of text or open gsmarena then swipe up and down slowly, repeatedly, you'll see that jelly-like or wavy effect on your display. Anyway, Its still a good tablet for the buck.
