I got a gift of this tab last month. The screen is great as expected of samsung amoled, battery is amazing. Im only using this tab to just read e-book, also some youtube but 80% of time is just reading. With my usage pattern, It easily reach 5 days of battery life with 9 hrs SoT.
The 2 major flaw are there. I read some reviews, the jelly effect is there but its not that bad, Ill say any casual users wouldn't even notice this unless you told them. (I did saw some one with apparently a bad unit, the screen was literary tearing when scrolling). The wifi issue is terrible, you can really see the signal dropping when you cover the upper left corner of the tablet.
Overall I'm fine with this tablet since it fills everything I need.

Check apps as a rougue app can cause some problems. Clear cache in chrome see if that's helps when browsing.

Apple's iOS and iPadOS updates do the same for older devices, so iPhones and iPads are unreliable scrap cars as well, if we follow your logic.

It's actually more like a daily driver like a midpriced Japanese SUV that doesn't have problems with occasional flooded roads and potholes, heavy traffic, higher elevations, dimly lit streets, etc. and more so in smoothly paved roads. And its not only road conditions - you can use it for solo driving, for family use or even for extended outings with relatives/friends. Sure an Apple logo like a Ferrari will turn more heads but that doesn't mean it's better for daily everyday errands/jobs or situations.

If you think iPadOS/iOS widgets are better, nop... moreOh, and I'd like to add, with Android, you can also not only connect to an ethernet to get ultrafast wired internet to your device, but the reverse is also true: that is, with Android you can do ethernet tethering (using low cost type C to ethernet cable) so you can share your Android device's unlimited Mobile data to a powerful router as backup internet source should your home wifi (broadband provider) get an outage or should some old PC's or device only have wifi. Can your iOS/iPadOS device do that? Nope. So just stop comparing. Android is light years away iOS/iPadOS in flexibility, versatility and functionality.

Even Android 4.4 KitKat widgets do more. Again, not even talking about custom launchers and extensive gestures customization that come with these alternative launchers. Have you tried Nova launcher prime? Apple's widgets are nothing close in comparison even with Android's 2013 KitKat software version. We're not even talking about file management and transfers yet. And wireless Desktop modes (DEX mode) that this tablet is capable of. And did I say it supports all sorts of wired peripherals too? Wired or wireless Mouse, keyboard, game controllers, and even an HDMI video out, or even a USB hub so everything is possible. And yes, even digital TV dongles are supported so you can watch live digital TV broadcast on this tablet no data needed! Lost your remote? It supports remote USB adapters too! Can your latest most expensive iPad Pro do even just HALF of what this Android based tablet can do? That's why I'm telling you iOS/iPadOS is still light years away from Android functionality, customizability and features. You see, Android's strengths and advantages are not simply being able to apply 'themes' or some cosmetic makeover unlike Apple's updates.

Anonymous, 13 Jun 2021Seriously? Android is light years ahead of iOS/iPadOS. A 2-... moreSee now, you're just fanboying. Android can do more things when it comes to customization but that's about it. iOS is far more stable, more secure and has a better app store. Developers will always prefer iOS over Android since it's so much easier to optimize an app for a couple of devices instead of hundreds. iOS updates are also a lot more frequent than Android, except if you have a Pixel device. Then they are about the same.

If you want to make Android look better, at least give some good reasoning to that.

PS: Regarding widgets, now that iOS has them, a lot of them are already better than the Android versions. Even Google's Widget on iOS is better than on Android. Imagine that.

A 2-year update support in Android does more things than a 6 year update on iOS/iPadOS. Frankly Android had better widgets 8 years ago (Android 4.4 KitKat) than Apple's iOS/iPadOS ever had in 2021! And the same is true for File Management and PC to phone file transfers and sharing. And we are not even talking about extensive customization yet. A very old Nexus 7 2013 LTE tablet running on Android 4.4 Kitkat can do lots more useful things for most regular tablet users than any iPad model in existence.

I can't tolerate its limitations in terms of usability, versatility and flexibility because of the archaic software. It has copied android's widget features now but still, it is nowhere near as usable, flexible, versatile and enjoyable to use as this android tablet.

If you're talking about raw processor power and wider choice of tablet optimized apps, then yes. But for regular Microsoft office presentations (you can use Wireless DEX mode), for multimedia activities (Photo viewing, Netflix) and for day to day use like social media, browsing and shopping (Facebook, YouTube, Amazon, etc., even the latest iPad Pros don't stand a chance to the versatility, flexibility and usefulness of this tablet. And it has a great Amoled Screen and Dolby Atmos audio which no 4 year old iPad, even an iPad Pro model can compare. Add a 1TB SanDisk micro SD card and you can store your entire Netflix, Google Play Movies and YouTube downloads and other movie collections as well as take all your personal photos and videos anywhere, no network needed. You can even copy and store your entire Desktop PC files easily with no stupid restrictions like in iOS/iPad OS. And the extra 1TB storage will only cost you $175.49 in Amazon.com
