Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2020)

I've been using this Galaxy Tab s6 lite since the 15st of last month October, I decided to buy it over the Huawei matepad 10.4 and Huawei matepad 11.
I went with the s6 lite becouse it came included with the stylus and had Samsung Dex.
But recently I am getting regrets over my purchase, I use this tablet for college and while it has been pretty stable for the most part, I've started to have little bugs and issues that totally have been destroying my routine and giving me a bad experience in general.
The first bug I encountered was that one part of the screen was not registering the s-pen, the issue was caused by using a universal case that uses rubber straps that holds the tablet to the case, those rubber straps was putting to much pressure on the screen making the s-pen not work on a specific part of the screen, so if you are planning to buy this tablet I would advise to buy a proper case and not go with universal cases, thankfully this issue was easily resolved by getting a proper case.
Second bug is a little bit more worrying, the wifi in my unit has not been particuly good since the last update, sometimes the wifi works great, and other days the wifi automatically turns off and I can't turn it back on again without restarting the tablet.
For last this isn't really a bug, but I wanna talk about the perfomance, the perfomance on this tablet is not great, it's OK but for this price you can get a lot better especially if you live in Europe, I have had the Samsung browser, Brave browser and my note-taking app Samsung notes crash on me countless times, sometimes even in the middle of class where I really need this apps to work.
My classes demand that I have the browser and my note-taking apps open, unfortunately the 4gb of ram can't keep up with even the basics of tasks for me, sometimes I'm using notes and need to use the browser open in the background, the background app always refreshes for me.
And I don't even consider myself a power user, I have no games on the tablet and just have been using it for college.
My honest advise don't buy this tablet, I could only recommend this tablet if you want to watch videos or watch movies, for the rest like note-taking there are better options out there.

I also got a new one directly from Samsung around the same time. Aside from one being gray and one being blue they have both looked and worked identically. I have yet to have any issues from them. My 5Ghz wifi speeds have always exceeded 400 Mb/s throughput.

It's been 5 months since I bought this tab. When it's charged 100% at night, when I checked it early morning it shows 96%.
Why is that? My Samsung phone is 3 years older now but it has never happened to my phone.

It is pretty much a larger smartphone without the voice calling portion. I like because it is portable to carry around the house, travel or even work. Most tablets you can purchase a separate keyboard for it if you want. I too have a laptop, smartphone and tablet but I probably use the tablet the most because of the large screen and portability. I like watching movies, games, news or quick google search better than the other devices. For example, I search a recipe and I have it open in the kitchen for me to see. Its bigger than a smartphone to read and doesn't take up as much room as a laptop. Hope this helps.

It's an entry level to mid-range tablet, not really sure what they were expecting. It is called "lite" for a reason. It has a large screen with a S pen and the processor is good enough for browsing, social media, watching videos, most games, etc. The battery life is also pretty decent. You can't expect to be blown away like some of the other tablets and ipads that are double the price.

Is the sim card function for LTE only, like ipads, or does the sim card have real call and text function too? I can't search it on the the web because all that appears is how to sync calls and texts from a phone to tablets using samsung account.
I need to have a tablet with call and text function sim card because i will use the tablet as my second phone with its own sim card and phone number. Thank you.

I have bad experiences with this tablet. The price is not worth it. It's good because it has a stylus, good for art, for work but for pictures, videos, not quite - it has no flashlight as well. It performs badly for games, it's laggy altho I have good internet connection and huge storage and ram.

Hmm, 04 Sep 2021I've had horrible experiences with Samsung tablets and... moreMy experience has been the opposite. Samsung has been on a roll. My two Tab S6 Lite Samsung Tablets are working great. My Galaxy S21 is working great. My three tab A7 tablets are working great. My Galaxy watch Active is working great. And my Galaxy Fit still works great.
Heck I was almost going to purchase the Samsung QN90A TV because I have been so pleased with Samsung. I used to purchase their DLP HD sets in the old days. But I decided to go with the Hisense U8G UHD TV instead. Since the price I paid was $800 less than the QN90A would have been. Plus Samsung only had one HDMI 2.1 input and no Dolby Vision on their UHD TVs.
I still hope Samsung embraces Dolby Vision one day. For their TVs, cell phones, and tablets. Instead of just HDR10+.

Stopped reading my SD card after the last update. Every time there's an update in any of my Samsung devices, the SD cards stop working in this particular device. On my older phones they just work fine, but on the newer devices everything seems to be lost.
This will be my last Samsung Android device ever.
