I was really disappointed because this tablet does not have a flash light at the back which should be there because flashlight is common on all phones/tablets, it also doesnt come with a hand free.

Anonymous, 19 Nov 2021What better option with similar price and has pen included?... moreDepends where you live, maybe in the US this might be the best option for the prince, but here in Europe there are defenetly better options out there, if not having Google Services is not a deal breaker for you, you can get the Huawei Matepad 10.4 + it's pen (that comes separate) for cheaper than the S6 lite, keep in mind that the Matepad 10.4 even being cheaper it has a better cpu than the S6 lite.
Appart from the Matepad 10.4, you can get the Matepad 11 bundle that comes with pen, keyboard and mouse for about 50 to 60€ more than the S6 lite.
For me personally not having Google Services is not a deal breaker, I mostly depend on the notes app and browser, but of couse that's me, the S6 lite certainly is good for price if you depend on Google.

Ive used this device 6 month...i dont know why when im using it as host on zoom, using SQUID or TOUCHNOTES teaching maths online, i get kicked out soooo many times. I use fiber internet which has ping less than 10ms. Gosh its soo annoying

Last year I bought this tablet because for the price it was the cheapest tablet+pen available, even the cheapest IPad+Apple pen was still more expensive than this, and that IPad only has 32gb storage which is not enough for 2020.

I've been using this Galaxy Tab s6 lite since the 15st of last month October, I decided to buy it over the Huawei matepad 10.4 and Huawei matepad 11.
I went with the s6 lite becouse it came included with the stylus and had Samsung Dex.
But recently I am getting regrets over my purchase, I use this tablet for college and while it has been pretty stable for the most part, I've started to have little bugs and issues that totally have been destroying my routine and giving me a bad experience in general.
The first bug I encountered was that one part of the screen was not registering the s-pen, the issue was caused by using a universal case that uses rubber straps that holds the tablet to the case, those rubber straps was putting to much pressure on the screen making the s-pen not work on a specific part of the screen, so if you are planning to buy this tablet I would advise to buy a proper case and not go with universal cases, thankfully this issue was easily resolved by getting a proper case.
Second bug is a little bit more worrying, the wifi in my unit has not been particuly good since the last update, sometimes the wifi works great, and other days the wifi automatically turns off and I can't turn it back on again without restarting the tablet.
For last this isn't really a bug, but I wanna talk about the perfomance, the perfomance on this tablet is not great, it's OK but for this price you can get a lot better especially if you live in Europe, I have had the Samsung browser, Brave browser and my note-taking app Samsung notes crash on me countless times, sometimes even in the middle of class where I really need this apps to work.
My classes demand that I have the browser and my note-taking apps open, unfortunately the 4gb of ram can't keep up with even the basics of tasks for me, sometimes I'm using notes and need to use the browser open in the background, the background app always refreshes for me.
And I don't even consider myself a power user, I have no games on the tablet and just have been using it for college.
My honest advise don't buy this tablet, I could only recommend this tablet if you want to watch videos or watch movies, for the rest like note-taking there are better options out there.

Hmm, 04 Sep 2021I bought two of these last November as well. One from Best ... moreI got one Tab S6 Lite from Best Buy in early October 2020. It was an open box.
I also got a new one directly from Samsung around the same time. Aside from one being gray and one being blue they have both looked and worked identically. I have yet to have any issues from them. My 5Ghz wifi speeds have always exceeded 400 Mb/s throughput.

Kumar, 10 Oct 2021My friend says buying a tab is useless and waste of money, ... moreThat is odd. I have two Tab S6 lite tablets and three Tab A7 tablets. I've been using them daily over the last 10 to 12 months. They have all been working great. All giving fast speeds over 5Ghz wireless AC.

It's been 5 months since I bought this tab. When it's charged 100% at night, when I checked it early morning it shows 96%.
Why is that? My Samsung phone is 3 years older now but it has never happened to my phone.

It is pretty much a larger smartphone without the voice calling portion. I like because it is portable to carry around the house, travel or even work. Most tablets you can purchase a separate keyboard for it if you want. I too have a laptop, smartphone and tablet but I probably use the tablet the most because of the large screen and portability. I like watching movies, games, news or quick google search better than the other devices. For example, I search a recipe and I have it open in the kitchen for me to see. Its bigger than a smartphone to read and doesn't take up as much room as a laptop. Hope this helps.
