I've had the S8+ for almost 12 months, the tablet is excellent in terms of screen quality, sound, CPU speed, but I'm not satisfied with the battery life, it charges relatively quickly, approx. 70 min to 100% with a 45 W charger, BUT the duration is not OK when it's full 100%, in the battery settings it shows that the battery will last exactly 10 hours, I use it mainly on LTE or 5G, but nothing less, the battery is not consumed even on WIFI, it drains the fastest when I use Chrome. What are your experiences with the battery.

this galaxy tab is honestly my fav android tab im getting one for my bday its in 27 days but theres one major issue with the SD 8 gen 1, it has bad throttling which means it cant handle heavy gaming but thats ok and this tab has such a big batt capacity it can become a powerbank lmao and for some reason i have a bad feeling that the in-display fingerprint sensor wont work cuz ive had a phone with it before and it just straight up bricked the phone because it was glitching so hard

Jon, 15 Apr 2023I'm using Tab S8+ for almost a year. I definitely sugg... morePersonally I prefer my Tab S8 over my Tab S8+. The S8 is the perfect size and it still has a very good screen. Battery life isn't that good on either the Tab S8 or S8+. At least when compared to my Tab S7 FE tablets.
The battery life with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has always been it's Achilles' heel. Because it was made my Samsung Foundry and is not as efficient as it should be. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, made by TSMC is a much better SoC. SInce it is much more efficient because TSMC made it.
I'm hoping that I can get a good trade in deal, later this year, on my Tab S7 FE tablets. I'll trade in two of them for two Tab S9 tablets, and one of them for a Tab S9+. While keeping my Tab S8 and S8+. SInce I still use the larger tablets, most of the time. But I still like the smaller screen for a large percentage of my use. Especially since it is much lighter and easier to hold.
And with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, the Tab S9 and S9+ should get much better battery life than the Tab S8 and S8+ get. Just like the battery life difference between the S22 line and the S23 line.

Please advise how to Sam. tab S8+ to make automatic programmed switching on / off of the device because this tablet does not have it in the settings, for example the Lenovo 11 pro that I have or the Xiaomi mobile phones have it. Is it possible with Bixsby, but how does anyone know.

Amoled screen and 4 speakers are jus amazing. Battery performance is also great. In terms of size, it's a perfect size, not too big not too small.. just go for S8+

I've had it for about half a year, when I compare it with my Lenovo 11 pro, it's incomparable. My impression is that the screen is perfect on this tablet and the sound with 4 speakers is a rhapsody to listen to music because the sound simply surrounds you from all sides, they have a solid bass. It's fast and that's all for now 🖐. I am interested in how long your battery lasts with constant use of the screen in all conditions ... video, Internet, music, office work ... so mixed. ?????

I've noticed a few changes in this u... moreJust to let you know that I've not run into any 'dimming' issues with recent update although I did have an issue along with others a few updates ago (last year) but it was sorted with a small update a few days later. No problem since then.

My Tab S8+ screen dimming works the same way as my Tab S8, Tab S7 FE, and Galaxy S23+.

aaronwt, 04 Mar 2023Im downloading it now That's good. I've noticed a few changes in this update. But not a lot. But I've enticed a smoother experience. I'm still having problems with display dimming which is annoying. Thought this update would have fixed the problem. Must be a hardware problem.

The only difference between s8 and s8+ is the display and size and internal memory. I will still use s8 as I only got it few months ago. S8+ was a gift for my birthday. I love watching moving on s8+. But like I said not a massive difference between the two.

Because it is much lighter and less bulky, but only a little smaller. If I had it over again I would have picked up a second Tab S8 instead of a Tab S8+. Also the battery life is better with my Tab S8 than my Tab S8+.

I won't use the tab for art or drawing
I'm only worried that 11inch S8 size not going to be big enough for pdf reading , multitasking and note taking .
Actually the only priority is only screen size to be large enough and also portable!

Only go for plus if you need the sensitive response during artwork..

Hello everyone , I can't choose between S8 and S8+
I am a Veterinarian and I want to choose the tab for reading pdf and e-books , note taking , some multitasking (for example studying a pdf file and taking note simultaneously) and also use my tab at work for writing the informations of each client (instead of traditional paperworks!)
I know that the bigger screen size of S8+ can be better , but I'm worried about portability! is S8+ too big for my usage?
(I have very big hands!)
What's your opinion? Which one should I choose?

Why don't we see amoled in 8 inch tablets ? I am sure there are more people who want that too
