I've seen used phones with Amoled displays and yes, they had burned pixels. And I don't know what kind of use they give them, because i had a Galaxy A7 2017 since it's launch, until this day. And it NEVER got the ghost screen. It's a thing of being careful aswell you know, low the brightness, not let a static image on screen with full birghtness for hours and so. I really really think that you have to try hard to burn an Amoled screen.

GSM MAN, 12 Oct 2023Can this oled still get a burnins? All oled WILL eventually burn in. No fix, its the nature of oled, they degrade overtime. MicroLed is the next gen of display, similar to oled pixel level self lit display but no burn in and much more bright.
However they're still crazy expensive starting around $150k. But give it a time like a decade, will see them becoming cheaper overtime just like oled was.

Can this oled still get a burnins?

Anonymous, 03 Oct 2023can a tab be used as a phoneIf it has slot for SIM card, then yes - it can be used for phone call. But since it's too big to hold like normal phone (pressed on your ear), then we have to use handsfree (earphone).

can a tab be used as a phone

Wow!! Samsung had a better deal last week. I got my second Tab S9+. But this time they had $500 trade in for a Tab S7 FE(which is the same amount Samsung gave me for my Tab S8 trade in). And the 512GB version for the 256GB price. And TopCashBack had 12% cash back too. So after taxes and cash back my total cost was only $408.

I just hope I don't have any more shipping issues. FedEX lost my Tab S8, Tab S8+, and Galaxy Wtach4 trade ins. Luckily they found the boxes with my Tab S8 and Tab S7 FE trade. But they never found the box with my Galaxy Watch4 trade. So Samsung says I need to wait ten days before they do anything. And then this week I will send in my last two Tab S7FE trades, for the $500 trade in value. I already received the second Tab S9+. And am waiting for my third Tab S9 to be delivered.

I've just bought Samsung Tab S9+ to replace my old Samsung Tab S7, how sad it cannot read my external SSD 1TB, but my old Samsung Tab S7 can read it without any help from external power supply, and my Samsung S22 Ultra can read SSD too without additional external power supply. I've unlock the developer mode for USB Debuging but still doesn't help at all... I came to Samsung Store and try another Samsung S9 Ultra still cannot read SSD 1TB without external power supply, but Samsung Fold 5 can read my SSD just like S22 Ultra and Samsung Tab S7..... Does anyone has the same problem?

I just placed my order for my S9+. I decided to get it from bestBuy, since they had a higher trade in value for my S8+ ($570) than Samsung had.

I only paid around $200 for my S8+, out of pocket, before cash back and after trade last November. Since Samsung had a special sale and higher trade in values then. I was going to wait to see what deals they had this year in November. But BestBuy also had a free, slim, keyboard cover for the S9+(samsung also had that deal).
So I decided to go ahead and get it now. Plus I'll get 5% back from BestBuy, in reward dollars. And 2% cashback from TopCashback.

I'm hoping Samsung will still have another sale and higher trade in values this November. Like last year. So I can trade in my remaining two Tab S7 FE tablets for another S9+ and S9 (I already traded in one Tab S7 FE and a Tab S8 for two S9 tablets). Or if BestBuy has a good deal too, i will go that route. Since I can physically take the trade up to BestBuy. Instead of having to ship it, Like you do with Samsung.

I do wish I had checked out the deals at BestBuy with the S9/S9+ at launch. SInce I am not a fan of dealing with Samsung trades any more. Since I've had a couple of times where they tried to say that my tablet wasn't in pristine condition. And I had to send them pics and video of the tablets to prove the condition. To get the max trade in value.

Although I'... moreThe Amoled versions was always expensive like the Tab S6 etc. Was happy when they came out with the s7 series with a reasonably priced vanilla version. It only got expensive with the s8 and now that Amoled is back full fledged again on flagships its expensive again. When it came to choosing between Apple and Samsung Samsung was always the better choice for me because of price. Now with this series it's more difficult to choose because of price point. Guess I will have to hold on to my s7 for as long as I can. After I guess its midrange tablets for me. So disappointed

received my unit early. the size is around B5 Paper. really comfortable to ready ebook.

Though the s9 family of tablets state a 60-120hz adaptive refresh rate, they all dial down to 30hz which is better than advertised :D

The Critic , 02 Aug 2023Now Samsung has become like apple.....expensive tablets now 😑😑Haven't they always been expensive?

Although I've never paid anywhere near full price for all of my Samsung Tablets. I typically get them when on Sale. And also have a generous trade in deal. Plus 8% to 10% cash back on the purchase.

Although, for the Tab S9 series, I am only getting the Tab S9 at launch. I plan to get a Tab S9+ in November/December(and another Tab S9). When they usually have generous sales. Hopefully, by then, I can get the Tab S9+ for around $450 after discounts and after my Tab S7 FE trade in. Instead of the current $600 or so it would cost me.

I trade in on Tab S7 FE for a launch Tab S9(arrives tomorrow) and I still have two more Tab S7 FE tablets to trade in. Although, if trade ins are especially generous in November/December. I might trade in my Tab S8 and Tab S8+ toward a Tab S9 and Tab S9+ too.

NeonHD, 31 Jul 2023There's not much difference between both the S7+ and (... moreYou are right. But the differences between SD8 gen 1 and gen 2 is huge. It is like 2 generations.

Considering sumsung's "Snapdragon for Galaxy" is just SD8 gen 2+. It is like 2.5 gens ahead. Moreover it is more power efficient. For long term I prefer to get this tablet.
