And the only big advantage I see, with my Tab S8+ OLED screen, is the off angle viewing. But I never view my tablets off angle, so it's not really a benefit for me.
I only traded in my Tab S8 because I got $500 trade in credit toward a Tab S9. And I had only paid around $200, out of pocket, for my Tab S8 last year.

I guess i am not sensible to screen flickering and pwm. But with the TFT screen of the Tab S8 I really had serious problems. I dont know why, but that's how it is.

What value is your comment for this group? At least my comment pertained to the Tab S9.
I still have not opened either of my Tab S9 tablets. I've been lazy since I hate dealing with the trade in process. I've only setup my Watch6. But I need to ship the trades in for my tablets by the 23rd. So I need to get my ass in gear and use Smart Switch. To transfer the data from a Tab S7 FE and a Tab S8.

I got my first Tab S9 today. The second one is supposed to show up later this week. But I won't setup the first Tab S9 until Wednesday or Thursday. I'm setting up my Watch6 tonight. And need to ship my Watch4 for trade in. And then my Watch5 will become my daily watch. With the Watch6 used on weekends and evenings

I upgraded from the tab s7 and the display is indeed much better, what surprised me most was the speakers, they're way louder and better sounding

All of Galaxy Tab S9 series has dual sim, 1 nano-sim and esim.

My Tab S9 5G 256GB/12GB (SM-X716BZAEEUE) got eSIM btw - was one of the things it asked me while setting it up.
I thought only the S9+ and Ultra got it after looking at specs and on news sites.

Nice that they gave it a amoled display but I guess it'll be another year with my tab S6! since sammy refuses to make a 8" or even a 9" ultra tab! I tried ipad mini 6, but I hate the whole eco system! tried the lenovo tab y700 but no global version and many quirks so I sold it after a few weeks! I really miss the old samsung!!
