Many problems including flashlight battery draining and screen flickering, I have sent this to warranty centre but no correction of any problem they just update the software

I have bought and used hand phone since 1990s.
One of the inconveniences is the small keyboard and screen size, because my fingers are rather big and therefore makes typing error so often.
However, since I bought Samsung Galaxy Tab S 2 days ago and install "Jback" keyboard this afternoon, I feel so happy and satisfied using this tablet.
The width of this tablet is perfect. I can grab and hold it by one hand.
Quality versus Price is very excellent as compared to other tablets or smart phones having more expensive price or twice of its price. This Samsung Galaxy Tab S is "Highly Recommended".

Andy, 04 Jun 2016Can anyone give me advice on connecting this device to a tv... moreyeah but you you need the mhl 2.0 adapter from Samsung. unless you have a smart tv with screen mirroring then you can connect wirelessly.

Can anyone give me advice on connecting this device to a tv. I bought a cheap cable to connect it via hdmi and it didn't work. Is it worth investing in a more expensive one? Can it be connected to a tv?

AnonD-483645, 03 Jan 2016This was a decent tablet out of the box, but after playing... more@garybob what Rom did you use, just wondering as to what you used cause im thinking of changing to something else other than stock seeing as I just found out the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 will NOT be getting the Marshmallow update which is absolutely ridiculous and makes my blood boil. Good thing i didnt update to Lollipop either and did my homework long before i was considering it. (Battery drain)

I have upgraded mine to Lollipop and I am not facing any drain issue. Try to check the apps that you have downloaded maybe it is active even the tablet is on idle. build number: LRX22G.T700XXU1BOL1

12223, 06 Apr 2016i upgraded it to lollipopo and my battery doesnt last a day... moreThe battery drain issue after upgrading to Lollipop is due to a bug in Google Play Services which causes it to constantly request wakelocks. To fix:
[1] Go to Settings->Applications->All,Google Play Services and choose "Uninstall Updates" (you might need to disable or stop the service first, if you don't see the Uninstall Updates button).
[2] Go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gms and reinstall Google Play Services.
[3] Restart your device.

Samy, 27 Jan 2016Do NOT upgrade to lollipop, it will drain your batterie life.i upgraded it to lollipopo and my battery doesnt last a day, what should i do? i dont know whether is the battery or the operating system.

I kept searching for a while to find tab S 8.4 or tab pro 8.4 till I bought the tab s 8.4 (LTE) from another country! as this 2014 tabs are much better than the new versions
But I'm really confused of upgrading it to lollipop or not?
Some people advising me not to upgrade as the original OS is the best in battery perfromance & others don't have problem & had battery impoved after lollipop!
Please i need a serious feedback from a real user & if its upgradable to 5.1.1 or 5.0.1 only
And if it has the smart manager after the update like note 4???

This was a decent tablet out of the box, but after playing around with it for a while, I kinda got tired of the bloatware and decided to put another rom on it. Now it's nothing less than a smokin bad ass slate. Highly recommend this to anyone who has this tablet

This tablet is absolutely awesome, yes it's not the latest model but if check the specs you will see that S2 is practically the same performance wise, and in my opinion worse, because of the 4:3 aspect ratio and lower resolution. Aspect of 16:10 is a must if you want to watch any kind of movies, Youtube and so on, not only that but also it's perfect for browsing in portrait mode as well. Most web sites nowadays are more suited for scrolling down so having a wider screen in not often an advantage at all.
Size wise it's the perfect combination of compact and having a big screen. It's very light and thin, I have no problems fitting it inside my sports shorts pocket.
Screen is phenomenal, images and videos look so great and detailed, it's just something else. High resolution and AMOLED screen is a great combination. I also have a Galaxy S6 which packs the same resolution on a smaller screen but everything just looks so much better on this bigger screen.
No problem with Micro SD, put in a 64 GB Sandisk and no problems whatsoever. Also the ANT+ connection is great if you have a compatible sports device. I use a chest strap heart rate monitor from Garmin and it syncs fine.
Overall very recommended, especially now that you can get a very good offer on new or slightly used one. I got a store demonstration model for a good price, since they were replacing them with the newer models.
