Thank you for letting us know, this is helpful especially for us users that had the Tab for more than 1 year and those warranties expired. And I also observed that when I turn those on (step 1 and 2) my battery always shows correct percentage.

For screen flickering - Scroll down and try out the method said by EDZ. I can't guarantee, but it seem to work, at least temporarily.

Sry for my bad eng....... battery socket error..... I opened back cover and... i fixed battery socket with hot gun..... .plz check battery socket....now... this device is still working and no.error no lag

Hello everybody,
I`m from Germany and I bought this tablet (but the one without LTE) 1.5 years ago. The first year it was working very well, until the last 6 months. Since then I have the same problem like you guys have written on this page. I use it and suddenly there is this flicker reboot, sometimes I have about 15 restarts a day. I contacted the customer support to ask for help, but they told me to not know about a problem like this. Furthermore it is not possible for me to apply for repair caused on a broken display. Therefore I thought the flicker reboot comes from the crack in the display, but now I read that quiet many people have the same problem. What can I do? I already tried the factory reset, but I`ve still the same problem... Shall I buy a new battery or is it because of the android system? If someone knows how to help, or how to get help/repair/battery change.... please write me or contact me via e-mail: pat.hof23@gmail.com

I got this tab 18 months ago, it was working well with Kitkat, I finally updated to Lollipop, and then I got this flicker / reboot problem others already mentioned here. It might be the OS or the battery or both, anyway, this is for sure the last Samsung product I will buy, considering its price, you would expect a much better quality... and Samsung could also call back bad products to fix them like most companies do when a general default appears.

Mine experienced rebooting problem. Suspecting retired battery. I went to service center and got battery replaced. The problem is gone for now.

For anyone still experiencing the flicker the reboot problem try to do this:
1. Turn on the power saving mode then the restrict performance (only the cpu performance is checked).
2. Then go to developer options, scroll all the way until you see the "Turn off hardware overlays" turn it on.
So far after doing this my Tab S LTE is never experiencing the flicker, lost signal and reboot problems.
Let me know guys if its working for you.

Guys i read lot of comments about the battery problem here. Still i gave this Tab s try. I bought it a month ago (second hand almost a year used). I did face the same battery and reboot issues but then i update it to lollipop (through OTA) and after that i have seen drastic changes in its battery life. Now it gets fully charged in around 2 hrs and give me 5 hrs of continuous usage with games and movies and around 10 to 12 hrs of normal usage (which is pretty good for 4900 mAh battery). Plus you get ultra power saving mode and normal power saving mode to save energy. You can use apps to save battery by killing apps in background)
from my exp. It was a software issue. Plus get original or nice copy of charger to get good results. Hope this long story helps :-)

I purchased Tab S 8.4 year ago and it worked well. from last month (after 11 months) i feel some software problem like many drivers not working properly.. even though I did a factory reset my problem is same...always the error messages like FB is not responding...gallery is not working... appears on the screen. after that the tab is getting stuck....it is under warranty and waiting for a better response.
