I tried the ultra saving mode and think it defeats the purpose of buying it. Almost all the features cannot be used and you are left with basic feature.

The tablet's battery last difference because people using it differently... Like gaming and browsing or just standby will affect the battery much different.
Right now after 24 hours, my tab S battery last 40% with 5 hours Screen On Time. Im so happy with it.

how are you complaining about battery i have this device for 4 months and the battery is great over 2 days normal using (this is my phone) and over 70% battery left.. cool....this is so great phone.....and the screen is awesome...the best ...urpåt

My TabS battery is now superior...
The battery last very long...
It stay on battery for 24hours, and still has 14% battery left.
The Screen On Time is 4 hours, about half an hour Wifi Thetering, 1 hour Youtube Streaming, couple hours gaming, etc.
The battery percentage is never jumping around too... Always show me the correct percentage. (Before it always jumping around).
It take a charge for a day, when it took 3-4 charges/day before i sent it to Samsung Service Center.
If u guys have trouble with battery, pls send it to Samsung Service Center. They will fix ur tablet.

That happened to me too. Battery was Erratic. Jumped from 100 percent to 80 in 5 Mins.
Sent it back, new battery later and charging connector and is stays at 100 percent long time. Battery is Ace. Customer service is excellent too. Don't suffer with bad battery because it's a great tab and battery is excellent when fixed. Can't understand why so many left the factory with knackered batteries to start with

I have this tab, and had the battery issue like all you guys. Before the battery went down very very quick. I brought the tablet to Samsung Repair Center, and they fixed in only in half an hour and return it to me.
They downgrade the OS, and replug the battery connector.
Now my tablet battery is staying in 100% after 2,5 hours i disconnect it. Now it stay at 97% after 4 hours with 15minutes Screen On Time.
Good Job Samsung...
The service center told me not to OTA upgrade the S/W because it not always compatible for my country (Indonesia).

When playing game, it will drain very fast within an hour. Then it will shut down. But when i switch it back on, it will show there is still 20-50% battery left.
If you suspect yours has similar problem, check the Battery Usage graph, you will see abnormalities.
I brought it to Samsung SC and they replaced battery and charging bracket. The issue is fixed, but the draining is still fast.
Thinking of selling it now. My note 2 n 10.1 (2012) still in good shape. Perhaps Samsung Note series are better?

Speakers and by headphone; music is great. Battery is good enough to go for a single day with very heavy use. That what I can say to make you believe to buy this 8.4 LTE version.
