... moreThis suggest to change resolution is useful, but is very risky.
Many device end up cannot go into the system, keep looping on the start up.
Many apps will have issue after changing the resolution.
The tab itself is fast enough.

Bought this T705 a couple of days ago, right away I installed Nova prime to mask the fuzzy TW UI and to keep things fast and light. Bought a hardy case from Speck with a built in stand. I couldn't be happier, bought it solely for movies on the plane and playback time is as advertised sometimes even better. Quick tip, if you want to go the extra mile on batt life, since this is a AMOLED display, download Colors from GP and switch all your background/wallpaper to black. Dead pixels = no consumption. No regrets, absolute form and function.

The resolution is too high that makes the device laggy.
Also, draining more power with almost no huge effect compare to a 1000 X 1600 resolution on the same device, 200 dpi
(Originally 1600 X 2560)
But, the performance is much better when I change it to 1000 X 1600.. I think the processor is not capable of the 2k reso but Samsung force to put it in a device with 2k reso.
Many other android devices have the same issue which make a laggy feeling for Android devices.

Install a battery saver apps will extend the battery life. Even on standby, it can on for several days.
Of course, playing game or using apps will make it last for only 1 day.

All along I'm still consider among apple and tab s, finally I'm make a decision to choose tab s because I'm like to watch movies and download. Very satisfy with it, the battery can last me whole day even I downloading and music with logictech ue boom Bluetooth speaker.

Very clear, light weight, and didn't face any problem with battery life. I love reading and watching movies. Tab S does the job perfectly.

Well every thing is good about this product ,its has the potential to attain niche customers as it offers ,the product surely does stand out in giving what the samsung is trying to offer,but there are always a drawbacks or weakness of every such things .
Hence the product is made of a poor raw maaterial in terms of the display and looks its plastic and the screen breaks easily at a single fall from 4 foot above the ground . And guys you wont want spend more bucks on getting it fixed and SAMSUNG uses this draw to make more money buy having no accidental repair policy that is customer friendly ,i mean its not worth buying a product that breaks so easily and if you use it daily carry it along ,you never know when accidental fall of the tab you hold may happen and obviously you aren't buying it to keep it at home and it will hatch eggs ..... Hence go for a product of same range with better accidental policy with the product eg:- SONY and if not than yeah the well known very popular Apple ipads.

This phone isnt giving me any problems as yet. Very happy with this tab. Had the Z3 tablet 8.1 and problems galore. Sony should stick to gaming...

Samsung tab eight got gear if no that means very hard to received calling cause it is too big most people probably keep this tab in their bag,and wont take it out simply cause it is quite expensive... if have a gear that means it will be very friendly ady do i hope it hv gear if hv i will straightly go and buy it

I thought I was going crazy trying to show it to other people. The flickering, the battery going suddenly to 1%, the up to 40%, the signal lost. May I ask you if you were able to fix these problems or if you keep having same problems?

You can open your tablet from top .....from the screen then you see the battry it have one conector you put it out for one minut and then plug it again ....some of this tablet have this problem but after that it will be okey 100 percent ....be sure
First of all search on youtub for how you can chenge the battry...and only when you can open your tablet ...discount the battry conector and conect it again ...be sur it will be okay ......3 of my frieds have this problem for dring fast battry and after that they can use full time a day...go do and be happy and tell me please)

I am having the same problem with my tablet. I just bought this few days ago and I don't understand why it easily drains even without using it all the time. I just leave it and just use it when i want to go online. Im just so sad because of the battery. I love the tablet but it disappoints me when I think of the battery life. I already used the power saving mode but still the batt life is the same. I've also decreased brightness, closed all unused apps, but still, the the effect is the same. Kinda disappointing thinking that the battery is 4900 mAH. Should have bought galaxy note instead. I used that before and the battery even lasted for days even when i'm using it most of the time. Pls help me. I want to enjoy the tablet but it's kinda disappointing me.

I am a user of lucky enough, use the sign and the performance is great, better than others I have ever had. I have the Core octa- android version to Brazil. I do not understand because of the problem of many with the fast drainage of this model. Believe me, Tab S LTE is the best tablet existing.

my battery is draining fast, i already lower the brightness, close some apps. i play COC i think 100% full charge playing COC will last only 1.5hrs. and always happens that when my battery is in 15% i will shut it off and when i power it on the battery will go 40% that's weird.
