been using the phone for 1year and 7 months. I'm having problem with the battery life. The battery becomes a little bloated and it's not functioning well so I bought a new one after a year, but I think it doesn't help. the battery life is consumed even if I'm not using any apps except for messaging. If I'm using apps i need to charge it up to 3 times a day. another prob is the phone always lag. sometimes it took at least 10sec to respond. pls. help. i think i need to buy a new one.

anyway.. if you are talking about the battery then it is not that great.. 1500mAh battery will only last 4-5 hours of video playback, 3-3 hr 30mins hours of games and about 3- 4 hours of wifi internet (2h.30mins - 3 hrs in data)..
the phone is released in 2011.. there are better phones available for a little bit more money such as Xperia SP, Galaxy Ace 3, Nokia Lumia 820 among others

on http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/2/ you can try to find your country and the carrier where you bought the phone. If you bought the phone in a retail store that is not affiliated with any carrier, you can find the product code of the phone somewhere in the contents of the original box or on its retail box itself
then the rest of the steps is the same. BE CAREFULL WHEN USING ODIN

i had this mobile. i tried upgrade to jellybelly using rooting method but now mobile is not working anymore. i can see the Samsung logo and model logo when start but after that nothing is coming. screen is totally blank. i request please provide any method to restore the software as before. thanks in advance

after that install the apps like Antutu Cpu Master, SetCPU, and other similar apps.
this will void your warranty though. (but warranty cn be restored if you flash original firmware via Odin)

I see, but why it always run slow, and usually it stop functioning, even after i did factory reset, i dont install this big apps but the performance is still weak, this phone is giving me a headache
