Victor, 15 Jan 2012I just got my galaxy W 1 weeks ago, but i found that my goo... moreplace two fingers at the bottom of the screen vertically and swipe to left or right and the map will be rotated. You can also place your fingers at the top of the screen.

a) Skype app is crappy coded. This is up to Skype developers to improve.
or
b) There is some problem with android's HAL, i.e. weak communication between userland apps and phone's hardware. This is job for android developers.

I just got my galaxy W 1 weeks ago, but i found that my google maps couldn't make any twisted rotate with 2 fingers, sometimes it works well, but mostly not! I had try to update to the latest firmware, but the problem still exist. Does anyone have idea about this, or facing the same problems?

wehewan, 14 Jan 2012so which is better?.. galaxy W or LG optimus black?.. reall... moreim a user of IG OB ,,now the thing with lg is it preduces food devieces with very bad suport,so you will endup regreting buying the device in the first place,,to make sure just go the there blog in face book and see what the users have to say about the support ,,,and you will be the judge of that.
for that reason im consedering switching to S.W.

galaxy w : its a real wonder ...know y??? bcz it has amazing specs in small price..
advantages:
1. superb price
2. 1.4 ghz processor
3. samsung touch wiz. ui 4.0 (the latest one)
disadvantages:
1. no amoled / s-lcd
2. no screen protection (gorilla glass)
3. very low available ram (384 available out of 512)
htc desire s:
its a cool fone, a bit out dated ..but still a healthy competitor.
advantages over galaxy w:
1. s-lcd
2. gorilla glass protection
3. larger ram (612 mb available out of 768mb)
if it were me , i will go for htc because screen protection is very important for me.
lg optmius black a "yes" instead of galaxy w because of :
1. gorilla glass
2. large screen , 4"
3. one of the brightest screen available
