I just bought this phone a few weeks ago and i have this problem.The phone doesnt read the sd card especially when it locks and unlocks again,it happen quite some time even after i restart it.Altough it is not a big problem,i find it annoying to restart it over and over again.

i had purchased this mobile set last week, now have successfully installed NIMBUZZ but i dont get idea to recharge the ITELLVOIP, So please advise i m waiting your reply.

Hey need some advice, my gf has this phone and has a decent amount of APPS on it, i read on one of the posts moving these too the SD makes them run quites slow. Is there anyway to divert the music to store on the SD? Also she uses Spotify can this app run from the SD or does it require to store the music on the internal memory?

I have the issue to ear piece volume been too low, wonder any other user experience the same, usually i need to max the volume or else i can hardly listen to the call, especially outdoor.

hate_dc, 13 Jan 2012where u get the update..hello,
just connect to wifi then, go to settings->about->software update-> check update.... and there, it will prompt you that you have an update...
in addition to the change, i also notice that the accept and cancel button during incoming call changed...

i bought the fone yesterday and is facing a strange problem.when i remove headset from fone loudspeaker volume is inaudibly low.i have to restart the fone to make the loud speaker audible again.facing same problem with gt-s5360.want the help urgently.is this a problem with fone or some settings?

Im from philippines..this is a great phone for its price.i got it fom italy..im not dt impressed of nkt having gorilla glass.but i foud out myself that it is scratch resistant.first i sratch a small part on the side.nothing happens..then i scratch the whole screen and still smooth.no scratches......

the things i noticed to change in 2.3.6 are:
1.new lockscreen interface - light swipe to unlock not like before that you have to drag till it reaches the side
2.phone logs - with shortcut to messages and phone logs of each recipient/caller/sender
3.faster browsing
4.faster touch response
5.new homepage for the browser with twitter integration (but i still prefer using dolphin HD browser)
6.louder loud speaker (better than before) and buffled sounds are minimized
7.faster gps lock...
that's all i've noticed...
this is for firmware update on galaxy w here in the philippines (from 2.3.5 to 2.3.6)...

ROOT of all EVIL, 12 Jan 2012Doesn't happen to me.. Where did you save your music? What ... moreits not the music player that heats up the phone but what i mean is that after using a heavy app or after charging(the phone naturally heats up) the music player jitters and skips. the problems seems to disappear after it cools down .there is no other app running in the background and im using a class 4 card..

Do hardwar... moredude if u r a big fan of games then u should buy xperia play..it is also getting ics update...u can also see neov best phone for me...xperia play is good looking phone with cool user intrf...so go for it...i cant suggest u to buy w..
