I fiddled with all settings etc and re-charged but nothing. So I went to my phone and disabled my bluetooth connection. I was then able to re-start my watch by pressing on the bottom button for several seconds. After the watch was re-started I then re-connected my phone to bluetooth and the connected my watch to my phone and now all seems to be ok. Give it a try and please let me know. Good luck.

It may be a silly suggestion but have you tried to re-start your watch. Also sounds like it may be stuck on an app such as Samsung Health and is going round in circles. Try your Samsung wearables app on your phone and see if you can find any information there.

I had my galaxy watch for 2 years, suddenly it began to overheat and the battery drains like crazy, 100 to 0 in just two hours, when charging it overheats and stops charging, I googled this problem and found many galaxy watch and galaxy active 2 users are having the same problem, but no one knows the reason for this, I'm using the official charger.

I have had it now since September 2019 and it is really quite brilliant. It's a miniature telephone/message centre/watch and is really working faultlessly paired to my s10. All issues have been sorted via a couple of updates and I cannot praise this watch enough.

I broadly support many of the positive comments made about the watch. But there is a BUT, a very big BUT. The watch is mis-sold regarding its watch resistance and if if fails do not look to Samsung to help. My watch was worn ONCE in a public pool and it suffered from water damage. Samsung admitted that the only damage was caused by water egress and suggested that I must have worn it when washing up! The said it would cost of £200 to repair (new motherboard - sound familiar) and I argued it was not fit for purpose and it had been wrongly advertised or it was defective when manufactured. I was supported by UK Citizens Advice who said the company should repair or replace at their cost. Of course, it is impossible to speak with anyone senior and the Customer Service staff all work from scripts. If your watch does not develop a leak, well done you. If it does the Samsung is not the company to buy a watch from. Caveat Emptor.

Received an update 3 days ago. I believe that the battery efficiency has been improved by between 10% to 15%. Working beautifully.

they should allow us to see our sleep data without our watches needing to be connected to our phones in TizenOS 5

I charge mine every night even though I could probably get close to 2 days form a charge. Also I always have everything enabled - WiFi, bluetooth, etc. However I have noticed that if I use the watch as a telephone for making or answering calls (leave my phone at home when I go out) then battery useage does increase considerably. Otherwise normal battery useage is about 2% per hour.

After the latest update on 25th March 2021, the Watch battery life is amazing. The Power saving mode looks nicer. Is there any possibile way one can keep wifi on AUTO and also use the power saving mode? that would really be nice if they make it possible so the phone and watch can be connected Remotely thru wifi probably using low power wifi.

Have just completed 2 years since i have the Galaxy watch 42mm and its fantastic.
