barbawesome, 28 Mar 2022This watch is the biggest piece of shit I have ever had. Th... moreI have no idea what you are talking about as every negative thing you stated cannot be reproduced. My experience is that my watch knew I was going for a walk, it knew I was jogging, it knew I got on a bike, it knew I went up 3 flights of stairs. I'm not saying that this watch is perfect as this is the case for all smart watches. What I am saying is that it functions well most of the time with "maybe" a few hiccups every now and then.
I got this watch with the $250 Samsung credit that came from my S22 Ultra purchase. I have no complaints so far.

This watch is the biggest piece of shit I have ever had. This total downgrade makes me rage at least once a day. It is somehow less functional than the galaxy watch 3. I loved my galaxy watch 3. It actually did a good job at tracking my workouts and autodetected when I was biking. They have literally downgraded this watch because it does not autodetect cycling but also the tracking of everything has somehow become atrociously bad. The UI is nothing special at all and is hardly an upgrade. It is not as intuitive or quick as they will have you think. I cannot even get the god damn Always on Display to stay on. That is what makes a watch a watch. All real watches, I can look at them one handed anytime and see the time. Well not this one. It has somehow become even less functional after the update and I could never reccomend this expensiv3e garbage to anyone. I really wanted to give it a chance. I tried to make it work for over 3 months and it simply just is not cutting it and now I am past the point of being able to return it. I regret my decision to buy this every single day.

I bought the 44 mm version, and if you're concerned about the battery life on the 40mm, i suggest just buying the 44 as it is only about $30 more. So far, so good ,but just disappointed that I cant use the galaxy atore.

Galaxy watch 4 40mm, 17 Mar 2022Stick a double size battery or least 400mah in 40mm
So ... moreI would still be charging it every night. Since I don't wear any of my Galaxy watches to bed.
And then it would also be much heavier and thicker with the larger battery. Which means I would not even want it.

After using my Galaxy Watch4 (44mm) for three weeks it is now lasting much longer on a charge than it used to. I can easily go a day and a half on a charge now. Prior to 2.5 weeks of use I had trouble making it to fifteen hours on a charge.

Its shit ..like all smart watches.
Great sensors and love the blood pressure etc BUT I have to charge ALL THE TIME and thats with super dim brightness and all switch off. Cant even sell it cos Samsung are giving the things away with new phones so market is saturated. Ive had 5 smart watches...all suck but this one is...no better!

I jave GW4 44mm, the battery time is good I got 1.5 days backup and that's sound good because I am using all the features of this watch.
Display,Touch responses, One UI and calling features are the best.
Overall a very good smartwatch.

I have a Galaxy Watch4 and a Galaxy Note5 (Android ver.7)
My question is, if I turn off Bluetooth, can I use my smartwatch to make phone calls, answer my calls, and view my calls and SMS notifications on my smartwatch via Wi-Fi (and router) instead of Bluetooth?
thank you

Kostas, 15 Feb 2022I own this watch the last 3 months.
It's the worst sm... moreFortunately, I'm buying mine with the credits Samsung gave me from my S22 purchase.
Worst case, I'll trade it in next year toward a Galaxy Watch 5. when I trade my S22 in for an S23.
But I currently have a Galaxy watch Active. Which I charge every day any way. So as long as it goes all day and improves on my Galaxy watch Active, the Galaxy Watch 4 should be fine for me.

I own this watch the last 3 months.
It's the worst smartwatch I ve ever had.
The always on top choise does not work properly.
The screen does not turn on every time I raise my wrist
The GPS is horrible. (4,1km instead of 5km)
I dont need to mention the battery
Don't spend your money!!!

I went ahead and ordered a Galaxy watch 4 when I pre-ordered my Galaxy S22. I just used the credits they gave me to cover most of the cost. Since I had to use them for something.
And last year I already got the galaxy Buds+ for free, so I didn't really need the galaxy Buds 2. And I still have accessories from year ago, that I purchased with the credits, that I never used.
Of course today my Galaxy Watch Active came off my wrist. I just hope whoever finds it around home doesn't keep it. Since my plan was to keep using my Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit 2, and also the Galaxy Watch 4.

Currently using a watch active but considering upgrading at some point, anyone who has this or the 4 classic could you let me know if its worthwhile or should i wait another bit for the 5 or even get the 3 instead. Nothing wrong with my active, just fancy an upgrade soon

aaronwt, 31 Jan 2022So the battery life is really that bad? I currently have a ... moreYeah, you won't notice a day and night difference. Just the dopamine reaction of having a new device, which lasts one day.
Wait for the next model. Battery lasts a bit more than a day but I charge it everyday anyway, to be sure.
Wait for the next model.
