What is the signal strength you are getting in your mobile? Go settings-> About device->status. There you would get the signal strength in dbm for SIM1 & SIM2. Anything better than (-70dbm) would give you good speed. If it is less than (-90dbm) you would start getting slow speed and around (-100) or -105dbm it would just work sometimes and won't work sometimes. Check the signal strength for SIM1 or SIM2 depending on in which Slot you have put your SIM. Do the same check after changing the mode to GSM and then see whether the signal strength is better. If you are getting poor signal strength only in WCDMA, then I think it would be mostly because reliance tower signal strength issue. Also, did you check with any of your friend who is using reliance SIM in your area?

I haven't tried very high end games-so cannot comment on that. Although it has a quad core CPU, Since the GPU in this CPU is Areno 203 which is not very high end, it may not play very high end games. There are a few reviews in youtube on Gaming performance of Quattro- you can check that. If you are planning to use it very heavily for gaming then this may not be the best choice.

I did some search in internet and it seems in India all 3G operators use 1900(Upload) and 2100(download) band . This is UMTS2100 band. Since Quattro supports 900/2100 MHz download frequencies, I think this may not be the issue, but it may be a good idea to check with Reliance Customer Support regarding this.

My Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G or the Galaxy Grand supports the following 3G bands : HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 whereas Quattro seem to support only HSDPA 900 / 2100 as per GSMArena. can this be the problem? May be reliance is using one of the bands which are not supported by Quattro. Does the same Reliance 3G work fine in other 3G mobiles?

guys i'm using quattro since a month...everything is working just fine..only problem is with reliance sim card on which i can't use 3g..whenever i put reliance sim...gsm mode works as usual but in wcdma mode sometimes 1 network bar comes and sometomes none and sometimes "reliance" comes in notification screen and sometimes "emergency calls only"...tried in 2 different states same problem and in my city reliance 3g is present....btw aircel and airtel 2g and 3g is working flawlessly....

Somebody mentioned about buying a 21MBps device(Galaxy Grand) instead of Quattro. Since our service providers don't support more than 7mbps, I don't think that should be an issue. However, just for comparison purpose today I would run the Speedtest app using same SIM in my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1(which supports 21 Mbps 3G) and send you the comparison results tomorrow.

What speed do you you get using that app? I am getting reasonable video speed with my Aircel SIM. Able to watch youtube videos using 3G without any lag.

while grand have 3g speed 21mbps
so u have to buy galaxy grand only 2000 rs difference b/w them

Der is one query I can't operate my skype properly in my galaxy quttro.. In video calling opposite person can't hear my voice but I'm able 2 hear him so wats thr prbl. . I even unistalled my app n dwnld again but the prbl is not solved even I made new ac I thought der might b some prbl in myt ac but not solved... we chat im able 2 do video call so wats wrong in Skype. .. is der prbl in my mbl or some other prbl plzz help me out. .
