Daniel0808, 29 Jun 2022Easy question. They are trying to save money, AMOLED screen... moreRemember the Galaxy J5 (2017)? That thing had an OLED screen and it was one of the cheapest Samsung phones..

Zakalwe, 29 Jun 2022Because LCD is better where it counts for a phone like this... moreLCD is brighter? I never heard something that's any more wrong than that.. and as for aging, well I have two 6 year old OLED phones with no burn in that were and are heavily used. Quality OLED doesn't have burn in issues and Samsung certainly makes the best OLED.

Ming, 29 Jun 2022Why never perfect phone why LCD instead of amoled? It is an outdoor phone. LCD is far better in sunny conditions.

Ming, 29 Jun 2022Why never perfect phone why LCD instead of amoled?Because LCD is better where it counts for a phone like this: no burn in, no aging/fading, brighter, cheaper. Why pay more for a display that your officers or workers cannot read in the sun and that breaks from showing the same screen 16 hours a day? OLED black levels are a nice thing to write about in reviews, but in practice the difference in image quality is negligible.

A rugged phone should have atleast 5000mah battery with 33 watts charging speed.

Ming, 29 Jun 2022Why never perfect phone why LCD instead of amoled?Easy question. They are trying to save money, AMOLED screens are just on high-end phones or tablet

An A33 with a spigen armor case would best this phone..

So the spec sheet has leaked: https://mobile.twitter.com/evleaks/status/1541787224194383874

The large size rumors turned out to be accurate, unfortunately - almost one cm taller than the Pro. :( On the bright side, 120Hz TFT-screen, and a proper USB-C 3.2 port rather than 2.0.

exp1orer, 26 Jun 2022If the rumour is true that this has a 80mm-width screen, I ... moreThe screen is not at all 80mm. The phone's housing is 80mm , but the front has very thick bezels, this helps to prevent damage to the oled / touch array.

The bad thing it is just 20:9 ratio so the screen is very elongated.

according to this latest leaked information (https://www.sammobile.com/news/user-manual-confirms-samsung-galaxy-xcover-6-pro-removable-battery/), the XCover Pro 6 has a DeX feature which is already available in Tab 3 Active and Tab Active Pro.

If the rumour is true that this has a 80mm-width screen, I will be very happy. I really hope Samsung won't make the same mistake by putting the same low-capacity battery on XCover Pro on this phone. This will replace my XCover Pro which can hardly survive a day without recharging. I don't want to accept that excuse that it has a replaceable battery therefore I have no reason to complain. Removing the back cover often means making the tight sealing becoming loose and losing its splash-resistant feature. Having to replace the battery within a day means opening/closing the back cover many times in a year. Samsung should put 7,000mah on this phone. I may end up buying a Sony Xperia 10 IV if this has a low endurance battery.
