An A33 with a spigen armor case would best this phone..

So the spec sheet has leaked: https://mobile.twitter.com/evleaks/status/1541787224194383874

The large size rumors turned out to be accurate, unfortunately - almost one cm taller than the Pro. :( On the bright side, 120Hz TFT-screen, and a proper USB-C 3.2 port rather than 2.0.

exp1orer, 26 Jun 2022If the rumour is true that this has a 80mm-width screen, I ... moreThe screen is not at all 80mm. The phone's housing is 80mm , but the front has very thick bezels, this helps to prevent damage to the oled / touch array.

The bad thing it is just 20:9 ratio so the screen is very elongated.

according to this latest leaked information (https://www.sammobile.com/news/user-manual-confirms-samsung-galaxy-xcover-6-pro-removable-battery/), the XCover Pro 6 has a DeX feature which is already available in Tab 3 Active and Tab Active Pro.

If the rumour is true that this has a 80mm-width screen, I will be very happy. I really hope Samsung won't make the same mistake by putting the same low-capacity battery on XCover Pro on this phone. This will replace my XCover Pro which can hardly survive a day without recharging. I don't want to accept that excuse that it has a replaceable battery therefore I have no reason to complain. Removing the back cover often means making the tight sealing becoming loose and losing its splash-resistant feature. Having to replace the battery within a day means opening/closing the back cover many times in a year. Samsung should put 7,000mah on this phone. I may end up buying a Sony Xperia 10 IV if this has a low endurance battery.

Some Samsung sites have launched support pages for the XCover6 Pro:
                          Australia: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/model/SM-G736BZKAXSA/
                          Germany: https://www.samsung.com/de/support/model/SM-G736BZKDEEB/

Nothing interesting there yet, basically just a placeholder, but I think the announcement might be imminent.(?)

One of the very important features of this phone and XCover series that is very useful to me and other professionals who use gloves (in work environment) and would like to take a photo, this phone is a must. My colleagues were wondering what smartphone I used and when I said Samsung they tried to look for the touch sensitivity settings on their Samsung smartphone as well :D

Why is Samsung sticking to this 4050mAh battery? My Xcover Pro could hardly last a day. People keep saying that you can just remove and replace the battery with the another fully charged one. I fully understand that but having a smartphone that can't last a day with single battery is unacceptable at this age. Come on Samsung, put something decent like 7000mAh that you are using in some of your smartphone. Removing the back cover and battery often is not good specially if this phone is designed for waterproof body. The new Xcover 4s I bought last week had to be returned because the back cover was already creaking (nothing has snapped off) and loose after only a couple of opening and closing it. Luckily, it has not happen yet to my son's Xcover 4 (3 years in use) and his new Xcover 4s (3 weeks in use) and my Xcover Pro (1 year in use).

The phone has appeared on the FCC report pages:
                                SM-G736B (European version?): https://fccid.io/A3LSMG736B
                                SM-G736U (US version?): https://fccid.io/A3LSMG736U

FCC reports focus on frequencies, emissions and the like, and they go little into the specs users care about. But they do confirm 128GB storage, the presence of a microSD slot, and that the battery is removable. Moreover, the test reports are from mid-May, and them being released now might indicate that the release of the phone is very close.

Zakalwe, 09 Jun 2022$150-phones don't come with properly tested IP-ratings... moreI didn't mean literal 150$ junk, but you still get the point.
A Redmi Note 11 (amazing deal by the way!)with a hard case that doesn't let too much water in will be good enough for most people looking for a rugged experience, most people don't work in places with steaming hot high pressure water where they need an exposed phone on them at all times.

VNuff, 09 Jun 2022then they wouldn't care to get a 150$ phone and cover ... more$150-phones don't come with properly tested IP-ratings, removable batteries, pogo pins for charging cradles and vehicle docks, and comprehensive warranties by reputable manufacturers with local offices around the globe. "MrWhoseTheBoss" tested pseudorugged no-name consumer junk, not the rugged devices that industries and first responders use.

That being said, I do think one should not be too generous with the "that's-not-important-in-serious-business"-excuse for low specs in rugged phones. Yes, these devices do not have to play games or 4k videos or take pretty pictures, but they should be able to function reliably and securely for years, which means they need the specs to handle future Android upgrades. A rugged phone that is just adequate today may not be so useful anymore in one, two versions. And clinging to Android 9 forever is not a solution (I'm looking at you, Panasonic and Motorola Solutions).

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2022The audience for this kind of phones don't care about ... morethen they wouldn't care to get a 150$ phone and cover it up with a 5$ case.
