Muttley, 07 Mar 2021Firstly I was not complaining. Most of my applications are... more"You can never have enough internal storage."

Well, by that reasoning Samsung could not make you happy no matter how much storage they put into this. ;-)

This is a business phone. My company phone has merely 16GB and that is fine. It is an iPhone, so not entirely comparable, but apart from the stock software it is running two work specific apps, both less than 50MB, and that's it. I doubt those would be bigger on Android. Employees are not supposed to install a gazillion personal things on their company tool.

Besides, my private Samsung phone does have 64GB internal and that is fine, too. I have installed everything I can think and I still have 44% space left. The few apps on there approaching or exceeding 1GB are games, which would have no place on a corporate phone.

Benn wondering when Samsung will come out with a new rugged phone, bezels could be smaller but it's a pleasant return nonetheless

Samsung should remake the Galaxy A3 but with more storage and less bloatware.
This is still on the large size for a phone but nothing like the tablet sized things people have these days.

Most of my applications are about 1GB of internal storage.
There is the possibility of app developers doing many things in the future but apps will not get smaller I have many apps that are 1GB ish in size and some bigger than 1GB.
I could easily fill 64GB with applications and then need to delete apps when the updates came in.
Samsung are keen on bloatware for sure which could take 25% of storage.
I have less than 25% storage left and I have virtually no apps other than what it came with.
You can never have enough internal storage.

These &... moreMany decades ago it was true you wouldn't need 64kb of storage but even these days 64 gigs of storage is more than enough. Updates won't just take 20 gigs of storage after a year? The only updates that are even big enough to take a bit of space are Android version upgrade from 11 to 12 and since this is a new phone it'll receive updates for 3 years so from 11 to 12 and 12 to 13 by then you would've only lost around 3-6 gigs of storage and not 20. Please look up the facts before you complain.
