for text message/sms you need to type the number of the sender manually .....big dis-advantage ....you can't select contact number independently ....it comes with the name like rajkamal....so you need to delete the name rajkamal before sending the sms !!!!!!

I just bought it last thursday.. Its my first smartphone though so I cant compare it to other smartphones... So far Im familiarizing with its commands and features.. it great though.. the first sim I used as internet sim to cut the internet cost while the other one I used for usual use for my calls.. I love its qwerty pad and mix of touch screen.. Its response is fast and the commands are user friendly.. Internet browsing is good, though it depends on your network and signal. Its wifi connection and bluetooth headset connection is fast and easy to use. Im not yet loading it with games but I'll try soon and make comments here again. Im very much satisfied with it for now and Im learning to love it.. I bought it for SAR700 (KSA saudi riyal)or $188. Hope my comments give benefits to others.

I have read so many comments on this phone both Positive and Negative before i finally decided to purchase it. I have used it extensively for 1 week now trying to explre the features on this dual sim phone and this is what i have finally arrived at...
SAMSUNG GALAXY Y PRO DUOS B5512 Features..
1. This Phone is Dual active standby (Both sim Works at the same time)
2. Comes Preloaded with Android gingerbread 2.3.6 with samsung touchwiz
3.when on call with sim 1 phone rings on sim 2 as well as sim 1 when someone calls.
3.Both sims are 3g capable, but only 1 works in 3g mode while the other operate in 2g. you can switch each sim to work in 3g or 2g.
4.video call camera works when calling other phone.
5.Nimbuzz video call works. i have not tried skype or yahoo messenger.
6.so far the this phone works well and does not hang like other dual sim phone.
7. user interface is very easy to operate and switching between sims are easy too.
8. Screen is 256k and not 16million colours which make the display not quite perfect. but atleast its ok.
9. call waiting works on both sim 1 and 2.
10. camera is not perfect but ok.
i have used alot of dual sim phone from different brands manufacturer including samsung too but this model ( SAMSUNG GALAXY Y PRO DUOS B5512)is the best and i mean the best in the market for now.
anyone wishing to have it should buy it cos you will never regret having this phone.
In samsung we trust...........At least for Now.

I strongly advice all the users here do not pay more than 9700 for this phone as some retailers in Mumbai are fooling cutomers and selling it for box price of 11.090. INR. I experienced this thing when i bought this phone.

Even i thought initially the price was too much. Iam not at all complaining shelling out 9700 for a Android dual sim phone. I hope other companies like HTC follow suit and introduce such phones.

If you ever used the chat 3222, u'll know the track pad hangs real often, and sometimes unusable. It should not be different in this case, although a touch screen may compensate during such times for the pro duos
