sumit, 10 Dec 2012Hy frnds I m very much confused betn Galaxy y & Nokia A... morenokia asha 311 is very good if u want faster internet than samsung galaxy y because it gives u class 33 edge which is faster than galaxy y class 12 edge and in 3g nokia asha 311 also gives faster internet speed than galaxy y . the 3g speed of nokia asha 311 is 14.4 mbps which is faster than galaxy y 7.2 mbps

now nokia is manufacturing a copied android os phones. bc andriod is better than laggy symbians.

galaxy y is the bst phone in this price range.
good net speed, ok type camera, gps, good 3G, wifi with hotspot, good music player, amazing responding touch screen, MP4 video support, and lot more.
DISADVANTAGE
1. low ppi screen
2. small screen
3. low RAM
4. no divx video
5. sometimes hangs when you open more apps simultaneously
7. no HD games

turn of your phone go to recovery mode.

hspa, 09 Dec 2012Lg L3 is better than Samsung galaxy y in build quality and ... morei own both l3 and sgy. you said lg has large screen. you are right but l3 only has below 120ppi and camera quality is too poor that you cant take image by night unless you give it vast of light to make better image.
i can only install one unstable rom for lg, the cm7. when sgy offers more roms and ports where you could experience jellybean taste.
sgy developed tweaks and tricks for better user experience.
if u want to increase your phone ram and memory. you can easily partition sgy when lg always failed.

samsung galaxy y is ok to starting android phone but its net speed is very slow in 2g because of its class 12 edge whereas nokia asha 311 is very good in net speed because of its class 33 edge which is 3 times faster than samsung class 12 edge
