I had bought this phone six months ago. It is a good phone, easy to use, easy to connect to the wi fi and good to use it a secondary netbook, for facebook and youtube and I can download lots of apps frrom Play Store. I even installed Duke Nukem 3 D game.

this is a nice phone... sensitive touch,fast conection to internet..its like a laptop dat has many used...nice apps...i used it for several months,and i did not encourter problems..

I've got this phone for a few months. I've had some let downs with it: I have noticed some issues when handling many apps, even if they're located in the SD card. I had to deal with a boot loop and I restored it to factory state to make it work again.
That' s the more serious thing happening with it. Also what makes me wanting to have another phone is its screen, it's very opaque, comparing it with a Xperia Mini hurts my heart. Also the camera is very low for what we can get nowadays, only 2 MP, no autofocus, no flash.
If you can, get a Motorola Spice that's available in the same price range, much better specs for about the same amount of money or pay a little bit more for a Xperia Mini or something like that.

I googled Phillipines Galaxy Young and they sell it there, there are even local reviews of this phone.

And if ever that will be available here, for sure it won't sell that much. People here prefer quality and don't just buy unknown brand. Even local brands here with good quality cannot compete in sales when it comes in smartphones. Since the choices here is always Samsung or Sony and last choice LG.
