i just updated mine to 2.3.6 from 2.3.5. It took me bout few miuntes via our 3.75G connection. Awsme n no issue with phone memory :)my phone is a october made one n this time only i updated . Maybe your device is error due to mafcuntioned update. pls direct to samsung service centre :)

then screen is off then wifi is off and diwnload with sim internet.

awosum phn, bt bettry back up on net i$ 3 to 4 har mex after charging, i have also E5, v responcible m0bile for anythng, btry back up net is 12 to 13 on browising, or 7 to 8 har on downloading, if u r net lover, there is n0 awosum phn is available in markit else E5, , when i buy my samsung glaxy y then i becum disheart, due to short bettry time, but when i check my father i.Phn 4s, its also give same betry time, or my brother htc, then i find, the android phn is nice bt btry back up is nt awosum ,due to high apps, after all, htc btry back up is v poor, its stand by is 1.5 day bt glaxy y stand by on msg is 3 days, its got v good betry back up, as compair to other phn which are available in markit, , dnt buy htc, net user i recumend E5, u must pray for me, i bet, thx

I did an over the air update of my galaxy Y of 15 MB Firmware update.since then my internal memory of phone has been reduced from 180 MB to 165 MB.
when the latest update was available Build DDLA3 I updated via Kies thru PC which took nearly 3 hrs,however inspite of this update the Internal memory is still showing as 165 MB.I am really up to my wits end to recover the 15 MB!! can any of you guys pl help me out??
