BTW mine takes like 3 hrs to charge from 15% to 100%.
Do you use your cell phone while charging? itmight be one of the reasons.

dont buy dis unit galaxy y... it is not supporting KIES by samsung.. it is hard to connect...

More than a month of using the Galaxy Y, 3-4 days for Call and Text every 2 hour or less than, and 2 days using FB, Android Market, Youtube and Google via Wifi connection, im very satisfied the speed of the processor...again thanks to Samsung waiting for the release of Ace Plus for upgrade.

Its a very good android 2.3.5 version very fast with operating system with 832 mha processor & 3G speed of HSDPA upto 7.2 mbps but there is problem over calling sector basically it has the calling problem which is not good but over all its very nice android smart phone with the lowest price ever so go for it guys :)

This makes a great sense rather to a developer than a normal person. This is the most sensitive thing as when you are applying some changes to your phone keep in mind that they are correct as even a bit of a wrong can make turn your great phone to a brick, i mean useless.

AnonD-36417, 19 Jan 2012what is rooting??rooting in andriod ..equivalnt to jail breaking in iphone.... but in andriod dont go for rooting.....cos depends on ur cell company manufacture ....some limitations are made for particular phone......for apps go to andriod market... they do have free apps:-)
