HI all ,
Iam a galaxy y user since last month.bought it for Rs 7000/-
screen quality/touchscreen resonse= good
music quality> good on headphones ( no manual settings for EQ)
music loudness> OK
battery on 2G= 2 days and on 3G=1 day
( useage is moderate on both with brightness on full)
mods done: rooted phone and installed chainfire3D
it allows me to play MOST HD games.
camera > poor(you pay for what u get)
overall a good budget android.
ps: earlier bought a HTC explorer but battery life was only 1 day so swapped it for a samsung

whenever i lock my fone automatically it is disconnecting form internet. And i cant download larger files from net. can anyone help me to solve this problem.

If you compare the two:
1. Galaxy mini have a higher processor clock
2. sleek and compact
3. Cheapest Smartphone
4. Galaxy Fit have a larger screen
5. Galaxy Fit have a larger RAM accomodation
6. Galaxy Y have the latest OS (Gingerbread)
7. Galaxy Fit is a Midrange, expect higher performance than the Galay Y counterpart

For cam: u can try ace if u want results. Galaxy is a best buy in its range. 0.8 Gh or 800 mhz processor batt backup and music quity also good. Fit is crap phone only good for cam that too hangs!
So final ans go for galaxy. Chk comments on flipkart.com

some times when incoming calls come means. it wont ring ,even it is not in silent mode so pls tell me that any body has faced this problem or not

Thats it, just a matter of taste.

galaxy y is ok. i've had no issues with it. internet speeds are good. the only thing that i wanted more for this phone is that if it had at least a 3.2mp camera.
